My family have been going to this bakery for over 40+ years, 4 generations. After today we will take our business elsewhere. Mariah is extremely unprofessional and rude. We had to give her our order 4 times and then she walks 2 feet away from us and starts making fun of us with her co-worker about our order. They both laugh assuming we weren’t paying attention what they were saying and doing. It is extremely rude and as an adults we don’t have time to be treated in this manner by the youth. Austin who says he was the manager was another employee who had no smile or no customer service. We know who the managers, owners and long time employees are and they NEVER are rude ever. But this group of youth can be rude, entitled to treat you badly. This isn’t worth our money and time. We live in another city we have a bakery within our community that is walking distance but instead we take the trip to Peter’s bakery to get what love. After today we will not go here again. And we will let our family and friends who go there about Our experience. It is weird how people behave and think everyone has to tolerate this immature and unprofessional behavior from employees. They are donuts you aren’t solving the world’s problem. Lastly we get home to our simple order with incorrect donuts and we are pretty sure we were charged correctly. Be kind it is free and it costs...

I had a very exhausting experience here when ordering a prepaid cake. I had ordered a custom cake two weeks in advance for an easy pickup. I came in at 11am as per my order and was told at 11:25 that there was a mistake and that the cake wasn’t made. Their reason was that the order ticket was placed on the wrong Saturday. The staff kindly acknowledged their mistake and offered a full refund. I accepted and was asked to wait 20 minutes to have my cake ready. Later, I was told the cake would be ready in another 20 minutes. During this time, a staff member double checked to make sure I wanted to keep the same decorations as before and I said yes. When I received the cake around 12:10, the decorations were slightly off the description, but I was okay with it and took the cake home. After eating the cake, I realized the icing was wrong too and that it was buttercream instead of the whipped icing that I had ordered. I was fine getting the cake later than expected, but getting the order wrong too was very irritating. My family has been a customer here for over 30 years so we know this was an outlier, and I hope this experience does not happen again! Dear owners, please set up a system for checking online orders so the order tickets dont get misplaced or put on the wrong...

There's definitely a real reason why this bakery quickly pops out in your google search. and believe me, its popularity is legitimate.

Early this week I was looking for a good bakery to buy a birthday cake so I followed my instinct and call them to make my order. The person who took the phone call was super friendly; she provided me with different bits of advice (it was clear that they were very busy, but she was very patient) and to avoid a long waiting time the day of the pick up I decide to go yesterday to pay my order in advance.

They really take all the COVID19 precautions, only two people at a time inside the store and if you already paid your order, you don't have to wait in line, just scan the QR code that is outside of the store and someone is going to come out to deliver your order.

It was almost impossible not to buy something being inside the store so I bought 4 tarts: Chocolate, lemon, strawberry & blackberry, one word: Divine! The waiting time is worth it. They have a wide variety of bread, cookies, cupcakes, pastries, coffee cakes, pies, danish, and donuts. The place is super clean (inside and outside) everyone is very friendly and they try to assist you as quickly...

After Dick's Bakery burned down, Peter's Bakery remains the only purveyor of burnt almond cake in the region. Unfortunately, Peter's version is a bland, one-note facsimile of Dick's. For $20, you get the 8", 2-layer burnt almond cake. The burnt almond cake is a white cake, with a butter-flavored whipped cream, and almonds covering the outside. The cake is very light in sweetness if you don't like a rich cake, but that's all the compliments I can give the cake. The cake itself was dry and the cream was lacking any complementary flavor. The almonds were the worst part. Their version shouldn't be called burnt almond because they don't caramelize the almonds. At Dick's, they would sugar and toast all the almonds, giving the cake a depth of sweet, intenser almond flavor, and varied texture with the crunch of toasted nuts. The carmelized almonds makes the burnt almond cake what it is. Peter's cake is a lazy vanilla cake with some toasted almonds. Peter's should just call it an almond cake. Skip this place if you were hoping for some transcendent almond cake experience. Toss some toasted almonds on your favorite vanilla cake and you will replicate the cake at Peter's Bakery.

The one and only place for the famous Burnt Almond Cake. You could get it as the classic white, Chocolate or Marble. But that's not all they have other baked goods here too and I don't really know what else is good here but they all look so delicious still. Lunardi's have the burnt Almond Cake too but something about theirs isn't quite right, I'm thinking it could be the sliced almonds they use instead of the crushed one. That's another review on it's own though. So with COVID only two customers are allowed in the store, there's also markers outside for you stand in line. The left side closest to the building are for pickup orders made ahead of time I believe. The other line with the orange tape is the line for in-store orders. The lines could be long as the markers for social distancing are quite a bit, I did come a bit earlier; I did see quite a line form behind me. So this is the place to go for the Burnt Almond Cake, and I'm sure that along with their other goods will surely not disappoint.
