Phở Lien | Noodle House — Restaurant in San Jose

We wanted a light, cheap and quick dinner after a long day of moving and found this place. I got a combo banh mi as I wasn’t that hungry and he got the pho. The banh mi was okay. The bread was okay and the filling was okay. It was kind of small as well. The pho was okay. It wasn’t super good, but it wasn’t bad either. The service was really good though. The staff is really friendly.

Tasted nothing but fish sauce n salt in their pho. Lacking very much effort in their craft. I tried to explain my concerns to the owner but instead got into a heated argument. Went here for lunch and got the Pho combo. Although portions were large it was mainly noodles with very little meat (2) pieces of each type of meat. Avocado shake was good and fresh.
