Cute place design, cool transparency of the workers making your ice cream. The cashier was very helpful, the workers and half okey and half horrible, me and my friends ordered ice cream and coffee simple order, they do not know how to go by order of the customer purchases. They had people waiting for their ice cream for awhile, while you hear the workers by the nitrogen ice cream maker chattering and the kitchen chattering stopping the work each time they speak which makes the process more slower, my friends got their ice cream before I got my simple coffee order which was the middle earth drink, it’s not like they made the strawberry preserves which tasted like store both 😂 and my friends ice coffee came 15 minutes after their ice cream and mine came out 10 minutes after and already my friends finished their ice cream. I spoke to the person who handed my drink and said it shouldn’t take that long to make coffee and it’s just simply unacceptable, and that they should work on that, he did apologize but the damage is done. I understand when there is not enough people working there will be lag, but they had enough people, 2-3 people in the ice cream maker and 2 in the back and there wasn’t a load of people in line, there was 2-3 to be exact. I completely believe in working and being relaxed, but to lag that long just for a coffee and to make us wait for the ice cream which is made in 5 minutes each, but done in a longer time, it is just not acceptable. My friends liked the consistency of the ice cream and instagramable the drinks were completely mediocre. Maybe I’ll give this place another try but that’s a stretch for me. You really have to love ice cream to have the patience for the wait on the workers making your ice cream, not for me. Thank you for the...

I was craving some ice cream on a Monday night and wanted to try out something funky. Convinced a couple friends to hop along and we ended up here lol.

They don't have a lot of ice cream flavors but they are pretty quirky and have eye catching descriptions. There's a number of options for toppings and puffle flavors. There's a big banner with a walkthrough on how to order your treat!

I usually go for the eccentric items on the menu, so I got the season spiced butter beer. It's butterscotch ice cream, cinnamon sugar, lightning bolt crisps and whipped topping. I got my scoop in a mochi puffle and topped it with marshmallow fluff!

The ice cream was alright, a bit less creamier than what I had hoped for. The lightning crisps were hard af and imo beyond what should accepted as edible lmao. I had to grind my teeth so much whenever I got some in my mouth. Be that as it may, the whole thing redeemed itself because of the beautiful and succulent puffle! It was warm and complemented the ice cream very well. I'll go back to this place just for the puffle lol.

My friends got the Double shot chocolate and Old fashioned vanilla in mochi puffles. They were impressed with their treats and we made quorum that this...

JUST WOW!!!

Cauldron reminds of "dinner and a show" You get entertainment watching the process of pouring the fresh, homeade liquid ingredients into each bowl, then watch interactvely as they pump the bowl with liquid nitrogen, then finish with a pattern on top of your ice cream and toppings.

Never seen or heard of this place. Walked in after having a sandwich next door and yikes, totally blown away. Novel concept, good buz, positive vibes, good customer service and FANTASTIC MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ice cream....JUST WOW. I was very surprised how rich, decadent and creamy their Mint Choco Chip was, didn't see that coming. The puff with cinnamon and sugar combined with amazing ice cream and watching it all come together was fun and extremely memorable, definately coming back for more.

Nearly forgot, ordered 1 scoop, they made so much I got 3 scoops out of it, impressive.

Drop whatever you are doing and go there now, marvel in the novelty and unique approach, savor the substance of a rich, fresh, homeade in front of you taste treat you cannot find anywhere...

I recently visited Cauldron Ice Cream in San Jose, and it was definitely a unique experience. The preparation process for the ice cream is unlike anything I've seen before – they make it fresh using liquid nitrogen, which creates this cool, smoky effect as they mix everything together. It's fun to watch, but it can take some time for them to prepare your order, so be prepared to wait a little longer than usual. The ice cream itself is delicious, but a bit on the pricier side. I was hoping to try their famous puffle (a kind of waffle cone), but unfortunately, they were out of it during my visit, which was a bummer. Even though I didn't get to try the puffle, the experience of watching them make the ice cream and trying the different flavors was still cool. That said, the staff wasn't particularly friendly. I was hoping for a warmer, more welcoming vibe, but they seemed a bit rushed and distant. Overall, though, the unique ice cream-making process and the flavors make Cauldron Ice Cream worth checking out, even if the service could use a little improvement.
