Red Chili | Thai & Vietnamese - San Jose — Restaurant in San Jose

I've gone to the Hayward location many times whenever I'm craving Thai food. Red Chili has been around for 20+ years and is well-known in the East Bay for their Thai and Vietnamese inspired cuisine. I'm happy to discover that this family-owned restaurant finally has expanded to the South Bay! What shocked me the most was that I never knew this SJ location has been open since 2017! This Red Chili is a lot smaller and more of a take out/catering spot, but they do have about six tables if you want to dine in.

Their San Jose menu actually has some dishes that I haven't seen at the Hayward location too! THE LAAB WINGS ARE A MUST GET! This was my first time trying them, and omg...so addicting!!

Very good Thai food.Ordered a Green Curry w/ Seafood Meal and Tom Kha (coconut gravy soup).Prepared about 5 minutes.Savory Flavor of curry,seafood was very fresh and tasty,and fully branded the flavor.during the eating,waitress gave me chilis,I pasted with noodle.that was the perfect match.garlic fragrance and the light taste of sour. Finish all plates.definitely will be back again.

The most impressive thing is :

1.waitresses all wearing masks,totally complianced Santa Clara Public Health Code § 6409.6

2.Mussels were seen green edge-means are all green mussels.pricer than regulars.taste more enhanced flavor.and shrimps are 41-50 type.more larger.quality ingredients.

This used to be our go to place. It was always delicious with generous servings. It's still delicious but the price has (understandably) gone up. The place is still good but just not as we remembered.

Pad see ew: always the go to for the kids. Broccoli noodles and meat? Winning combination for them. We used to order only one but now we order two because the kids demolish the noodles and leave half the broccoli and meat. They would both be hungry because no more noodles left.

Pad Kee mao. Our go to for the adults. Way spicier than normal but still oh do dang good.

Overall, great ratio of noodles you ingredients with not just filler (bean sprouts, onion, etc). I should really ask for extra noodles.
