Redi Room — Restaurant in San Jose

Ordered food from there and went to pick it up the next day. When I got there I had to wait behind a crowd at the bar. Then bartender got upset with for saying "why do you need my ID, I'm only here to pick up food." As I was getting my ID out I was told that I was taking things personally and I just ignored the comment as it seemed like the bartender was drunk. Sat there waiting for 15-20 for food which should have already been ready. When they brought the food out, I was told not to come back of I couldn't be nice to the bartender. I would not recommend ordering food from a place where the staff is drunk at 5:30 pm and rude...

Just stopped by for a beer and to gather my thoughts. Not too crowded and the service was good. Watched football and left after 20mins or so. I like that they had pool and darts available, good ways to break the ice when meeting new people. If they had drink specials I didn't notice any of them posted anywhere, nor did the bartender mention anything. I think it's a good idea for bars to post there drink specials or happy hour deals conspicuously and for the bartender to start off the introduction by mentioning the specials when taking the order. This was my favorite bar when I lived close by and it still is after a moved further way even though I tried to find a closer place :) I'm happy to make the trip because it's such a great place. Staff is super friendly and the crowd is nice and friendly. The beer selection is OK (could have been a little better) and the drinks selection is also good but not amazing. They are more than happy to let you bring food from outside so we often order sushi or something next door and just go grab it...
