I am a frequent patron of your Starbucks location on. I wanted to bring to someone’s attention the discriminatory service I receive every time I am there and with today’s instance, I feel it is really important that someone is informed.
My spouse and I visit this location very frequently. We typically are among the first ones there because we’re there right when it open before work. The lack of fair, friendly service is my initial concern.
Every morning when we enter, it’s a rare occurrence that we’re spoken to. In fact, my spouse had an incident in which he felt compelled to speak to a gentleman shortly after our transaction to inform him about his passive behavior but had no issue being friendly with his counterparts right after.
Today I decided to take a trip to same location to Because I was waiting to meet up with my spouse. In the event, I accidentally fell asleep and I was approached by a supervisor. She explained that there was no sleeping in the lobby, and I apologized and told her ok. Shortly after, I took a bathroom trip and sat back down. Approximately 30 minutes after, I had two cops approach me while I was on my phone. They explained to me that it was explained to them that I wasn’t a patron and that it was requested that I leave(which no one had that conversation with me). I explained to them that I WAS a customer and I’ve been here since 5 am so it’s unfortunate that they would lie to law enforcement about something so minuscule. They told that they weren’t going to make it a big deal but wanted to inform me and they left shortly after.
I requested to speak with the manager right after and it was the same person that I had intial point of contact with. She explained to me that a customer brought it to her attention so that’s why she said something to me(which I completely understand). I asked her why did she feel it was appropriate to call the cops after she had already said something and her response was “the same customer that said something, also called when she left”. I immediately told her why that didn’t make sense and how I felt it was uncalled for. What didn’t make sense and sit with me well was after she spoke to me the first time, I was up the entire time and even went to the bathroom(in which we made eye contact) and then randomly I have cops show up with a false story about my purpose for being there.
I felt that was an extreme unnecessary measure to take given that something was already said and if there was issue outside of me being there, then that should’ve been addressed instead of having the cops called because to their knowledge, they showed up to tell me to eave because I wasn’t a customer which was far from the conversation I had with the supervisor that approached me.
That is far from acceptable and do not appreciate the way my spouse and I treated every time we visit this location...
Read moreI was a regular visitor of this place having starbucks membership until today. I ordered an almond milk latte extra hot and thought I had ordered a tall size and the person didnt bother to ask the size. I get a grande and I say that I had mentioned tall and I wanted to tall one. Even if I had not mentioned it was their fault to not ask for size and not assume it was grande. And in ambiguity like these you would think the customer’s word is honored by simply charging them for tall. Anyways, there was this latino lady with curly black hair who responded that I would have to park my car and wait (it was a drive through), to get my tall drink. To which I replied, a drink made wrong is always remade why should I park my car and wait for it. Then I asked her to charge me for tall as she had already scanned my app. She said that was not possible and I very well knew it was cause they had done that before... sheer laziness plus rudeness. And I told it on her face that she was being rude. Then she tells me to make a tall drink, I would need to return my grande (What a waste of food and she insinuated I was being cheap by paying for a tall drink and taking a grande), whereas usually they would let it go. And finally she hands over 50 cents change to me instead of putting it back on my app which I found further insulting. I hope the manager of the store takes note of this. Me and my husband come here every single day but today was extremely disappointed with very poor and insulting customer service, that is very unlikely...
Read moreFirst, I would just like to say that I understand completely understand COVID procedures, social distancing, and only allowing maximum capacity. However, and this is a suggestion.. if you are going to close your lobby at 4:30PM, then you might want to update your online app so people aren’t trying to come inside to pick up their order. The only reason I’m even writing this review is because when I called to speak with someone the gentleman on the phone was super rude. He told me the lobby closed at 4:30PM and that I could wait in the drive thru line to pick up my drink. I asked if there was an option for me to stand outside and they just bring my drinks to the door and he said no, you can wait in line. I asked if I could just have a refund because I did not want to wait in a drive thru line when I had already ordered and paid for my drink online. He spoke with his manager and said that if I wanted a refund I could wait in the drive thru line or come back tomorrow morning and get my refund then..🤔 So I have already inconvenienced myself once already so I guess I will come back tomorrow and be inconvenienced again as I will not be waiting in the drive thru...
