Subway — Restaurant in San Jose

The customer service at this location is appalling. Very rude staff that barely understand English in the first place. No wonder they have a 1.5 stars on yelp. They don’t wash their hands when they make the sandwich and when I called to ask a simple question, the lady got frustrated and hung up on me and then I had to call a total of eight more times for her to answer. Responding very rudely that they were busy when I was actually in the parking lot looking right at them laughing and not responding or answering the phone on purpose. When I asked to speak to the manager, they said she’ll be here tomorrow. When I asked for the person’s name, she said, and I quote “she knows my name” Besides that she was super rude, and I could practically hear her rolling her eyes over the phone. If you don’t like your job quit, but don’t put customers through such horrendous customer service because either you’re having a bad day or you dislike your job. Ordered through doordash and they decided to just make me what they wanted because they didn't have what I ordered. When I called them to tell them my order was wrong the guy on the phone said well that's what they had. It says on my order if they didn't have what I ordered for them to call me. Now I don't know how that process works if they have to call doordash to say "hey we don't have what the person ordered can you call them and tell us what replacement they want" or if they contact me directly. Regardless there was 0 contact to anyone to say we don't have what you ordered. The guy on the phone said I need to just call doordash to take care of it. Mind you this is a Sunday evening...completely...

Awful! I went in and made sure that they knew that I had a coupon for two foot longs, since they don't speak English very well I guess she didn't understand that I wanted two sandwiches on the coupon. We went through the whole process of making my sandwiches and when we got to the end the other lady said this sandwich is not included, like wth? I told you I wanted to use a coupon why would you continue to make a sandwich when you know I want to use a coupon?! So both sandwiches went to waste because of a communication problem.
