Subway — Restaurant in San Jose

This review will change on the next visit for sure...the question is 3 or 5. The store is clean and the staff are friendly, helpful and care about your satisfaction. My daughter and I stopped by to get a quick meal and although the service was slower than expected, I attribute that to a new staff member in training(?) that was over generous with the garlic butter on my steak and cheese. I think this devastating (sandwich altering) mistake was done with the best intentions and almost made the sandwich edible. Almost...lol. Anyways, back to the reason this is a 4 star review. The reason it is, is due to the fact that the gentleman supervising this very nice young lady acknowledged the fact that it took a little longer than expected and was thoughtful enough to offer us a coupon for free cookies on our next visit while conveying an honest concern for the value of our time. This goes a long way for me and I feel another opportunity to make me another sandwich that won't clog my arteries and scare every vampire in California away for the rest of the year. Seriously though, the garlic butter is bomb, but too much of a good thing is, well, you know.

The true disappointment of this SuBWaY order a 12 tuna sub and the girl who made my order served the tuna with the knife, did not measure the tuna that was going to put the sandwich and asked if they did not have a measuring spoon to serve it and She told me that yes, but that she had been working there for a year and that she already knew the average that she actually gave with the spoon less than serving it with the Knife omg seriously. Then she asked if it was to eat here or to take and I told her here it was 10:25 and she said but we are going to close and I asked her what time they closed and she told me you have like 10 minutes to eat it here because we are going to close . First off your subway app didn't work for this location couldn't order 3 footlongs then when my wife went in to order the Mexican lady behind the counter wouldn't honor the coupons and kept arguing with her when she order all 3 she rang her up but was trying to charge her more then what the coupon we had very unprofessional until the manager came from the back and still didn't understand the coupon they really need training on handling customer service and learning the register on coupons we will no longer be coming to THIS SUBWAY I order a meatball sandwich and there's no sauce and I ordered pepper jack cheese she gave me yellow Americans very...
