TacoMania — Restaurant in San Jose

Tacomania has a great selection on their menu and the interior is clean however it was my first time here and likely will be my last.

They really need to improve on their customer service skill and the lady ringing me up was annoyed with me. Why? Maybe I had questions of what the items are and I added more items to my order. I guess she doesn’t want me to place a big order. Or she wasn’t a happy person. I’m not the only one that feels that way! Maybe they don’t need customers?

The burritos and tacos are ok. I felt that their meat need a bit more flavor to it and shouldn’t depend on the sauce to make it better. The sauce should improve the overall taste not be the main seasoning. The al pastor meat was good and one I would recommend if your trying this place out.

The nachos are soggy and no refried beans? I guess this depends on your preference.

A bit stingy on their sauce. Order $70 worth of tacos, burritos and nachos but only have use 5 small containers of sauce. The lady isn’t want to give out more.

They have (tripa )tripe tacos, and birria quesadillas too. Thats the 4 starts. Authentic Mexican ? Yes. It's weird how they plate your order of tacos. So if you have someone with 2 tacos asada, 2 tripa and your next person has different meats guess what? they won't plate them the way you told them. They plate all your asada together. All your pastor tacos together so then you have to figure it out and replate everyones food. Not cool. And if your Mexicanyour in trouble cus your group is going to be big. Check your order before you leave. I was missing a plate of 4 tacos. When I called to let them know. NO answer. 4 stars for variety of meats, no wow...

Rude, rude, rude. The young ladies, if you can call them ladies, treat you like an inconvenience, and that’s only after ignoring you.

Seems to be a family owned business and only the cooks and other staff that are hired are decent people.

Holy moly. The food is really good and I honestly wonder if the folks running the spot are human traffickers.

There is such a self entitled and superiority complex in the way the ladies treat customers AND staff!
