Taqueria Parranga — Restaurant in San Jose

If you are going to give an option to tip, then serve the food and don’t expect the customer to clean their table. When the food was ready, they expected my girlfriend to grab the food after we tipped them. And I didn’t even realize that until after we left, my girlfriend told me that they just expected her to grab the food. I was in the restroom at the time. I then willingly cleared my table since there was a sign about clearing your table after you eat.

My recommendation is either they serve us since we tipped them or no tip at all. And take down that “clean your table sign.” I still try to tip since I was a server in my younger years. But this tipping culture is trying my patience especially when many establishments are asking 18% while dining cost is also increasing and...

We stopped by here on a Saturday evening craving something quick and tasty. We were not disappointed. Tacos came out fast and fresh. We were on our way to a party so no time to chill and enjoy drinks and other menu items. Just some tacos real quick. The place gets busy very fast, but there's plenty of seats indoor and out. Hot sauces to go with the tacos. Put away your dishes when you are finished because I don't think there's any table service. We were a party of 7 when I tried this place out, nice place at the tip of Santana Row. The server was friendly and offered great service and accomodation for our party. The tacos are about 5" in diameter and we're served at a perfect temperature. The variety in meat choices also made this place very pleasing as well, as well as the variety of salsas they had for the food. Overall I would definitely try this place again the next time I'm in the area. Also on a side note, this place even had my own dad saying this place was good, which doesn't happen very often with...
