The River Oaks Cafe (Open to the Public - VTA Cafe) — Restaurant in San Jose

I've been looking for a reasonably priced lunch spot since Kerrie's Kafe closed. River Oaks Cafe has earned it's place as my new go-to lunch spot. You can get an amazing lunch for less than $10. I ordered the Hot Pot Bi Bim Bop special (pictured). It had a good amount of veggies, nice chunks of meat, and an egg! And all that food was just $8.14 with tax. It was tasty and satisfying. The other nice thing is that there is ample parking and seating. The restaurant is tricky to find. You navigate to the VTA headquarters, turn right, then make the first left into the visitor parking lot (there are a whole bunch of 3 hour parking signs). From the parking lot, you'll see a path that leads to a little bridge on the west side of the lot. Follow it, you'll see a VTA entrance for Building C, and then you turn left, and you'll find a door for the ROC.
