If you haven't been to ER, try this restaurant! I will update the details soon :-)
What happened? I ordered food here at 10/8/21 on 熊猫外卖, and I felt some foreign object in my mouth. It was an iron wire roughly 2-3cm from the food they made! It was shocking for me to take it from my mouth using my hand. Seeing it visually was exceedingly disturbing. I was watching TV while I was eating. I remembered my main was on TV, yet I still remember I cannot chew their healthy food properly. Maybe I should not chew that much, then I would have been in heaven. I want to stress here that I CAN NOT imagine what would happen to me if I had not eaten slow enough.
What Easterly's response was? I reported this incident to 熊猫外卖, who then reported it to Easterly. The response I got was: Easterly is willing to remake to food for me for free PROVIDED THAT I go to the restaurant to pick it up. This IS THE most "professional" and "decent" response I have ever gotten in my life. If one has a functional brain, they would have asked if their customer is okay and need assistance for hospitalization. What do you think?
I want to say 熊猫外卖 recommended I go to the hospital to take necessary actions. Right, Easterly did NOT mention this as you probably have guessed.
What did I do? I went to a hospital, and paid the fee with my insurance and out-of-pocket fees. I also paid the fees to back and forth to Uber. I also paid for the stupidity of the unhygienic nature of Easterly Santa Clara. I emailed them to ASK them to take the responsibility for their liability on 11/15/21. Had 38 back and forth messages till now(5/23/22), I have gotten zero $ for the reparation of the incident.
FYI: If you are a reporter or lawyer who is interested in my case, please...
Read moreStaff was very rude. They did not attempt to make us feel welcome at all. We felt like we were rushed. The menu was thrown down in front of us and we were immediately asked what we wanted without any time to actually look at the menu 1st. They did not offer drink's. When they did come back to take me order were very pushy about doing it as fast as they could. Did not want to help answer any questions about the dishes. They brought the food out to us way too fast for it to have been freshly cooked. It was obviously pre prepped and cooked. They never came to ask us if we wanted drinks or if there was anything we needed during our meal. Halfway through our meal they threw the check presenter down on the table and then came through about every 3 minutes staring at the check presenter to see if we had left a card to pay for it. We were not barely halfway through our meal. The food tastes were very good. Unfortunately we felt like we got screwed on the duck. No actual duck meat in the dish. It was all bones fat and skin. My family and I felt like we were discriminated against because we were the only white people inside the restaurant. We were even pointed at and left at at 1 point in time. I will never come back. My family will not go back. And I will start the campaign to let everybody know how absolutely horrible this place is. Save your money if you're looking for any good...
Read moreA.decent Chinese restaurant in the Rivermark featuring Hunan cuisine, a type of spicy and savory Chinese regional cuisine. Hunan cuisine differs from Sichuan in that the latter also uses the Sichuan peppercorns that makes your tongue tingle and numb. I remember going to this restaurant several years ago when they first opened in the Bay Area (now they have expanded to four locations) and the food was spicy and memorable. This time it seemed to me the quality of their foods have gone downhill. We ordered pork stirfry with chili peppers, Chinese yam and wood ear fungus stir fry, a new dish the waitress recommended with bony duck pieces stir fired with duck blood and chili peppers, and a sheep tripe mushroom soup. The pork in the stirfry was too dry (did not seem fresh) and they used bell peppers instead of the authentic green chili peppers. This dish, unfortunately, did not taste like authentic Hunan food at all. The duck blood dish was very unusual, but it had too many bones and very little duck meat. The mushroom soup, not enough wild mushrooms, but too much bamboo shoots that seemed to have come from a can. For better spicy Chinese foods, in the future I will go to other restaurants in...
