The only reason i rated this location 1 star is cause i had too to leave my opinion. Worse drive thru experience ever. A bunch of teenagers focusing on laughing and talking to each other opposed to helping each other get their guests thru what is so called "the express line" where's the manager through all this? Maybe it was the kid with all the paper towels on his head?.
I had been out, running errands and was starting to get hungry. I was at Ross across the street, so I decided, when I was done, I'd swing by Wendy's for a change of pace.
I waited in a LONG drive-thru line (which moved fairly quickly) and, unfamiliar with the menu, requested a moment. When I was ready, the man took my order. I requested an iced tea (when I learned it was fresh & not powder) plus a lemon wedge. Well, they don't have lemon wedges, so he suggested he could add lemonade to it, so I agreed. (I was mixing the two together when I was a little girl, long before I ever heard of an Arnold Palmer, so I was okay with his suggestion.)
There is an option of getting just the salad or a combination (w/fries & drink), but as I'm trying to lose weight, I settled on just the salad & a drink. And I'm glad I did because, boy, was there plenty to eat.
At first, when I pulled out the salad box, I thought I had paid too much because the salad container was so much smaller than you get at, say, Jack in the Box. And then I took out all the accoutrements: chili, chips, salsa, & sour cream. Wow, was it a LOT of stuff! Seriously. I didn't add all of it in the salad either. Just SOME of the chili, a COUPLE chips crunched up, and a LITTLE salsa and sour cream. If I'd added all of each, the salad would've been a soupy, soggy mess. So I added a little of each and had chips & salsa as a side, with the remaining chili for later.
Anyhow, it turned out to be a very filling lunch...and tasty, too. So I would certainly recommend the Taco Salad and am looking forward to returning in the future to try the other salads that sounded interesting.
About the service, the girl at the window was VERY good. Efficient and quick. And friendly. I would recommend...
Read moreWhen ordering my food, I asked the young man (latino descent), no name tag present, if they did refills on their drinks. He replied, "yes". I told him, "thank you". He gave us great service and served us hot food expeditiously with a smile.
HOWEVER, when going back to get my refills, I gave my cups to a young lady (Asian descent), no name tag present. She asked me what were the drinks, I told her Hi-C Fruit Punch & Pineapple Mango Lemonade. She was quick to tell me that they don't do refills on the lemonade. I responded, "that's not what I was told". She became verbally combative with me. Then a female Manager (Asian descent),also no name tag present, noticed that she was giving me a refill on the lemonade. In front of me, she spoke to this worker, in their dialect. I do not speak or understand this language; however, in this case, I knew of what they were speaking about. I told the manager, that I didn't know what she said but I understood what it was about. I replied with, "that's not what I was told". This female manager, yells his name and shouts, "we don't do refills on the lemonade" in English!!!!!!!! Really Wendy's!!!!
I also let this female "Manager" know that she was rude for how she handled the situation, unprofessional for speaking infront of me in another language and not a good manager/leader/role model.
Needless to say, I got the refills and they were wrong. BUT at this point, I was tired of arguing. It's my money and i just won't go back!! I will gladly spend my money with their...
