Bred Hot Chicken — Restaurant in San Juan Capistrano

During the San Juan tree lighting day me and my family chose to get Bred Hot Chicken for dinner, we got to meet the owners and they were very sweet. Ever since the first time I’ve been I needed more, I ended up going for my birthday, and whenever I go out to eat it’s “100% bred hot chicken!” Every single time I go it never fails to please my needs. There chicken has been consistent in its texture thickness and especially taste, the fries are seasoned just perfectly, my friend got the strawberry sueezy so I took a little sip but I ended up drinking almost all of it, it was a perfect taste (one of my favorite drinks) and the comeback sauce just pulls together this phenomenal dish. The customer service never fails either for example me and my friend needed water and the woman could see we were struggling to find the source she gave us cups and clear directions to a water source (bless her heart). I recently visited this establishment and was quite disappointed with my experience, especially considering the $31 price tag. To add insult to injury, the system automatically prompted for a tip, despite the fact that I had to enter my own order without any assistance.

On a brighter note, the chicken itself was flavorful, though it was drenched in an excessive amount of oil which detracted from the overall enjoyment. Unfortunately, the fries were served disappointingly cold.

In summary, this dining experience left much to be desired. For those looking for quality chicken at a better value, Raising Cane's offers a similar taste profile for about half the price. I doubt I'll be returning here for...

I'll start with the good. The chicken was cooked nicely and had good flavor. The mac and cheese was fresh, but not as flavorful as the chicken. The fries were just ok and a bit cold. None of it was with the $68.36 that and two drinks cost us.

The wait time of 35 minutes was just an additional insult. You don't know how long the wait is going to be until you pay for your order. Had i known it was going to be that long, I would have skipped the whole thing all together.

This is where I would normally say I'd give them another chance on a day that wasn't as busy, but I can't justify spending that kind of money on a mediocre...
