Not worth the price. 2nd time I've eaten here. 1st time menudo is tripe only no hominy and not much flavor. I got the large and it was mostly liquid. 2nd time was today. I ordered a breakdown Burrito with eggs and potato only. He made it with bean and when he remade it.. all he did was take the eggs and potatoes off of the beans in the Burrito he first made and pit in a new tortilla. This would have been fine if he hadn't left half of the potatoes and eggs on the beans he threw away. So I ended up paying full price for half the ingredients... even the two ladies at the counter asked him why it was so small. Don't assume people don't understand the Spanish you're speaking.. I have small hands.. the pic I was trying to show comparison for size. Smaller than a taco bell Burrito if that helps.... usually they are big enough to share which I usually do..... just not worth 8 bucks

The best! Love this place-the panaderia next door is amazing! Breakfast burritos are so good and super cheap! Like 2.50. They also have breakfast tacos! Its right off the freeway so easy if your traveling. You can customize anything, it is a made to order situation similiar to chipotle. Everything is right in front of you so pick all your favorites! Oh and the fresh juice! Spinach, pineapple, beet, really good for the body! They also have tortillas for sale although they dont make them there. Dining is open and restrooms are clean.

Was on my way back home from Tijuana and decided to stop in and get a bite for the road. I'm glad we did. I ordered the combination plate (#6) . It came with 4 taquitos de res (you choose the meat) with rice and beans. Btw, the rice and beans were absolutely delicious. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I even ordered a mangoneada off of their frozen cocktail specials. 👍 I absolutely recommend this place.

A taste of Mexico in the suburbs!

If you're looking for some authentic guisado style and made to-go comida this is the spot. I was super hungry when I got here so I started off by ordering a birria combination plate that came with rice, beans, tortillas and all the fixings. It came with a side of consume which went well for dipping my tortillas in, while snacking on the combination plate. I also ordered a carne asada burrito with Chile Verde sauce (special request) inside. Let me tell you about this thing...first off it's wider than my fist and filled with carne, rice, beans, all fixings, crema y poco queso. I had to stop myself from overindulging in it because it was so rico baby!

There's also a panaderia here as well that I have yet to try and the scents floating over while I was in line were pretty tempting I must say.

Enjoy, go out...

I've been coming to El molino de Oro for many years, good place to eat great Mexican food in SJC I was loyal to this place, by El Campeón However the quality of food is going down the hill the tortilla chips are old from days behind or who knows. Bottom-line those are not good to eat. I called to put my my feedback with the manager MARIANO however he has no management skills/ experience to handle customers feedback. I heard from employes that he is mean too with them. But some employes are afraid to lose their jobs if they complain. hopefully the owner Mr. Castro Daniel do something about it. Before he loses clientele and employees. Feel free to contact me!.. Looking forward to support family owned business. Mean while I will try Lupe's in Dana Poin or Ricardos Place next door. Thank you and...
