Good food but the skinny lady in counter front make it a bad experience and moment. Not a tourist area, a suburb region of SJ. This is more for locals, you will see people gathering each other m. Don’t be fooled by pictures and prices here or in the web. Everything is charged extra, no matter if they don’t have all the vegetables or fruits..they will charge you same. She was rude, desesperare, talk to fast. It was out first time there and let her know that so she can help or recommend something….but No!, we don’t feel welcomed here after all. They try to charge you an upfront tip w/o any personal or table service offering. What brought me to this place was the need of a space where I could work on my college assignments and grab a bite. I study close by this café, and the first time I went in it was busy! Definitely first impressions was that it is not a place you should go to for quietness. But the food and service was just so good I had to overlook that. Went back, and that second visit was more chill. They got some hours when it slows down. Coffee always freshly made, the waffles are so fluffy and sweet. My favorite thing to order. The service here was incredible. All of the servers were very friendly even though I clearly struggled to communicate with them because I don't speak much spanish. They we're also friendly and offered a lot of great suggestions. The only frustration that I have is that it took so so long for our food to come out. And by the time it did come out, it was cold and not enjoyable. The coffees were incredible and they came out super fast and they were fancy and tasty but the food just took way too long to come out and by the time it did, it was just not enjoyable...
