Lechoncito's — Restaurant in San Juan

For the last 3 days we had severely disappointing food all over Puerto Rico. We ended up getting so frustrated 😡 with the poor food choices in Puerto Rico that as we finally gave up on finding good food and decided togo too McDonald's that's when we saw Ruben Cafe right next to it. The place is very clean and neat, the bathroom is very clean also. I cannot describe you how delicious the food was, and the PORTIONS, the portions were huge. Easily two people can enjoy each dish. By mistake the hostess gave us the next tables lemonade to us. IT WAS the best freKing 🍋 in the world. All there juices are made fresh from scratch. Literally just left there and I HAD to leave a review! Though they did not speak much english, the service was impeccable. They made us feel right at home and even with the language barrier was able to order with no issues. I had the chicken soup with sweet plaintains, my bf had fried pork with fries. Both came out together and with not much of a wait but clearly made to order. It was so tasty and fresh!!!! I wish I could have tried more on their menu! I was so impressed that I google translate " who's grandma is in the kitchen, the food is delicious" to tell my waiter jokingly....
