First and foremost I hadn’t ate since breakfast I went to Whataburger ordered a number 1 asked the girl who took our order and actually repeated it to her several times. NO ONIONS NO CHEESE because she asked twice if I wanted cheese asked her to add easy Mayo. Then ordered my daughter chicken bites meal. So I ask the guy that was working can you make sure it has mustard because the girl didn’t seem like she knew what she was doing and he said it comes with mustard already so it should have it. We pulled up further to front as there was a big line in back of us. We got our food and we left Alamo Whataburger is closed due to flooding so I went to the one in San Juan. Came home mind you I hadn’t ate since breakfast. It was already 7pm around there. Anyways I get home no mustard in there I specifically told that girl NO ONIONS and not only is there a lot of ONIONS they added Jalapenos to it too! I took them off because I was hungry then my second to my last bite I felt something hard when I bit in and I was like what the heck is that I bit again and I felt pain to my tooth something was stuck in there I tried getting it with my tongue but wasn’t successful I had to pinch it out with my fingers it was a hard plastic that was stuck on my tooth I immediately called Whataburger and asked to speak to the manager her name was Vanessa. She just apologized and asked me if I was going to the hospital I’m like what’s the use of me going to the hospital I need a dentist is what I need. It being the weekend she said someone from corporate would get in touch we me Monday. I am in pain and she said of you decide to go to the hospital make sure you get a report and just said I’m sorry ma’am didn’t say anything else but ask for my full name address and phone number. Read moreI used the Whataburger app to place an order ahead of time, so it would be ready when I arrived to pick it up.
1st concern was that the drive-thru order pick up was GREYED OUT. Thus, I was forced to choose counter pick up up.
I notice the pick up time has elapsed as I walk into the restaurant. I stand in front of the counter for 3 - 4 minutes before I am addressed.
I ask about my order and I am told they will check on it. I wait 5 MORE minutes and I am told by the manager that they are working on my order (I placed the order approximately 15 - 20 minutes prior).
I WAIT an additional 5 minutes before my order is given to me..... Prior to Whataburger being acquired by the new Chicago based ownership group - this would NEVER happen. Any delays would be addressed by the manager with an apology and a FREE pie or Shake. This Saturday evening, I didn't even get a "Thank You for choosing Whataburger"! As I pulled up to the drive-thru, I was greeted by Kimberly, who immediately made a positive impression with her polite and attentive demeanor. Her customer service attitude was genuinely refreshing, making me feel valued as a customer.
I ordered my usual meal, and I was thrilled to find that everything was fresh and hot when I received it. The quality of the food was exactly what I've come to expect from Whataburger, but the service pushed this visit over the top. Kimberly’s enthusiasm and care in handling my order truly enhanced the experience.
