Wing Barn San Juan — Restaurant in San Juan

I’m a calm and permissive person in general, especially knowing how a business operates and being a business owner myself, but tonight’s service was subpar at this restaurant.

I ordered two small appetizers for pick up, they said it would take 20min, ok. I show up about 25min-30min to find out one of the items wasn’t available. They gave me the option for choosing a secondary item, ok. I asked them why they didn’t let me know or at least call since they took my phone number to notify me before my arrival to change my order, that way I didn’t have to wait an additional 20min for the new second item? They said the called me 4times, which was a blatant lie as I showed them my call log. I would have picked up a cold order of one item and a hot order of the second, it’s not difficult to understand that frustration. Also, customers can’t be waiting almost an hour for appetizers to go.

The part that really grind my gears is that they charge you up front when ordering by phone before pick up, at least get the order and service right. Smh! ..Because of waiting almost an hour for my food and this whole debacle I left with my money refunded and left their food behind, what they try to avoid when having orders that don’t come through for them. Like them, I also like to avoid subpar...

Back when this restaurant opened, service and food was excellent. We (my friends and I) will go to the one on Trenton because it was the closest one to our homes. Now, this location was the most convenient based on the location but; since a few weeks back, service and food has been horrible. From closing down earlier than usual, to providing traditional wings that don’t even look like wings at all! I understand that a few weeks ago, there was a shortage on wings but; I’ve been to other places and wings are “normal” compared to this place. I really don’t know if there was a change of management or owner but; if you’re seeing this, buy the good products because we can tell it’s super cheap right now. On another note, I love your jalapeño bacon wrapped poppers… but every time that I order them, they tell me they don’t have them anymore. Doesn’t matter the time or day. They used to happily make them before but now, it seems that lazy got the best out of them. I’m sorry, but if you don’t fix your staff and food, this will be the last time I come to...

The experience was horrible. The service treated me and my siblings so terribly. When I had gone to get a drink the worker that changes the ice had said "move" and then when I proceeded to move she got on her phone and stayed like that for 5 minutes after I had already sat down. Our food was greasy and the workers were on their phones the entire time. The food felt like they didn't even try to make it taste good it was disgusting especially the Lone Star burger. It came out like a Patty Melt which if you don't know is very fatty, greasy, soggy, and just revolting. The only good part was the dessert and the fact that the food came out fresh, yet it was still nasty. How? Not even my nephew ate the food because of how disgusting it was. This is definitely not worth the price with the service, food, and experience. I will not being going to this location again. The only good food was the brownie...
