Cafe Cortado — Restaurant in San Marcos

Cafe Cortado has amazing coffee plus it's super cute & fun. I recently had the crème brûlée donut with a tiramisu latte and they were both absolutely fantastic. I've also had the cold brew coffee (delicious) as well as a cold brew with espresso (again, delicious). There's a variety of specialty drinks as well as savory items on the menu (that I'm excited to try soon). Cafe Cortado is also dog friendly and I am stoked seeing the happy puppies that get a reprieve from the sun under the umbrellas. The best Americano in San Marcos. Manages to be full of flavor, without any acidity or bitterness. They also have 8oz cups which is amazing and the best way to enjoy it. The whole place is so cute, wonderful place to sit and relax, especially now that the weather is better. I’ve also seen sunscreen and bug spray outside available for use which is cool! This little coffee truck is phenomenal! The owner is so sweet and passionate about making sure her customers are happy :) she has quality ingredients and both times I’ve been she’s patiently helped me figure out what I want and made great recommendations. Today she helped me decide on a coconut cold brew with chocolate & coconut syrup so it’s a bit sweeter, she also added cold foam, chocolate drizzle, cocoa powder, and espresso powder on top.
