Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in San Marcos

Every time I go to the West Hopkins location, the girl working the drive through always gives me terrible customer service - she wears glasses, is most likely hispanic. I have never in my life given a good/bad review to ANY place before. But after going here with repeated horrible service, I felt as though I had to. By the looks of the reviews, I am not the only one that has had customer service issues here. I have worked in the food industry for over 5 years, so I gave the service multiple chances as I understand rude customers can put you in a bad mood. But, it never failed that the same worker gave me attitude no matter what time of the day I went there. I have been going to Shipleys for many years. But the customer service I have been receiving every time I have been here has led me to refrain from going to this location. The food is decent, but not worth receiving...

I just went through the drive through with my boyfriend for donuts this morning, and the lady who was at the window had a very bad attitude, as soon as we pulled up she opened the window and asked. "What do you want?" in a very annoyed tone. My boyfriend began to order by saying "I'd like half a dozen donuts, half glazed half--- ; She didn't even let him finish and again in an annoyed tone said, "What else??" So he continued his order, when she interrupted again and told him, "You need to speak up sir" when he was already talking in a clear tone???? and then she had to ask him what he wanted the other half of the donuts to be because she cut him off the first time!!! She then told us the price and slammed the window shut, we were so pissed we...

Their savory kolaches are advertised containing separate ingredients (sausage, cheese, and jalapeno). Nope. It's just a sausage like the kind you would buy in the freezer section at a grocery with the ingredients in the sausage already. The breading was dry. Huge disappointment.

I was going to give only one star, but gave two stars because the doughnuts are ok. If you want great doughnuts, go to Babe's. This place is more of a "doughnuts for the office" kind of place.

I really don't know why they have so many 5 star reviews. The quality of the food, service, and establishment are at most 3 starts...
