Ok, so my gumbo was a) watery-bad roux b)no flavor. No spice, no flavor. I grew up on Cajun food my whole life in Houston with Louisiana friends cooking me some of the best gumbo in the world…. However what I will say was amazing about this place is the characters that came in here. I saw it inside for a little over an hour and talked to you about six different people. Some wonderful elderly people all had amazing stories. One knew my family from 40 years ago back in South Texas. I really want to like the food, but the owner needs to realize that that is not gumbo. And how about getting some bottles of Tabasco? And how about doing some recycling here? the level of waste was literally killing me. All the plastic and cans and everything being thrown away.

Update: called the store to let them know and figure it out and they told me they’ll give me $26 worth of cooked crawfish and a that’s all I wanted because I wanted to eat them… I pull up 30min later for the crawfish and they sold me they are sold out … I asked for a refund and I didn’t have my reciept so they told me no refund … what an establishment lmfao I’ve been here two times before this to get live crawfish to boil myself… and it’s been excellent eating but my third time going today I don’t know if I’d be back… bought 4lbs for $26 and I can safely say I’ll only be eating 1lb and should of only paid for 1lb. In the pictures the plastic bag is all the dead ones I have to forfeit.

Went there today for the first time. Ordered everything to go. The crawfish was absolutely delicious and very spicy. The shrimp was perfectly done and very tasty. The catfish was very good but there was only one fillet on the platter which was very disappointing. Sausage was “ok”. Potatoes and corn were also excellent. Not a lot of seating inside. It was kinda hot inside and the air was still with no fans so I wouldn’t have wanted to eat inside anyway. Plenty of seating outside though. And BTW, we were told you are welcome to BYOB beer and alcohol.

My husband and I found OMG about a year ago. Our experience had always been pleasant being that we've seen the same familiar faces and great customer service. But this evening we had a completely different vibe. Not only were there not the same faces, but a completely different staff, the food was less then desirable. Usually our crawdads are nice and fresh and the shrimp is cooked to perfection, accentuated by a side of potatoes, corn, and sausage. This time or crawdads were beyond overcooked, most of the dads were mushy and others were overcooked and stick to the shells. Possibly reheated from the pervious day.t The shrimp was chewy and it wasn't piping hot. We ordered a bag of sausage with corn and potatoes and only got potatoes. We wanted a lid for the spice seasoning to take home the costly shrimp for the dogs and the staff replied "we don't carry lids" which is odd for those customers who order to go menus and ask for the seasoning. Wouldn't you have to have a lid? I must say we were sadly disappointed and questioning whether we will visit again. This was April 16th...

Finally you don't have to wait to be crawfish season here in san Marcos, they have the best shrimp seasoned to perfection, it doesn't taste just boiled like other places, you can feel the heat but is not too overwhelming. They had an awesome start and with this quality of food and service they will definitely have a great success, probably will need to change locations and get a bigger parking lot because it gets crowded. I love the shrimp bag, I'm able to take my food home. Without getting any smell in my car. I would only suggest to have a price for extra corn and potatoes, they are always handy to cold off the heat of the shrimp and I would love to buy some extras, even though when i ask for more he just give me those for free, and that's part of the awesome service. I know they are just starting and the menu will accommodate our needs, and when you go have a little patience they are hiring a much needed extra help but is totally...

I've been to omg several time since my first review however things today were different food was great and spicy as usual but pricing was alternated. Crawfish have been 7.99 a pound and half pound shrimp 4.99 a pound. Upon being rang up and given the total I questioned the 7.99 charge for the shrimp the girl response they never have been 4.99. I have receipts to prove that I have paid before. So was I being over charged for my food today. Makes me question the integrity of the cashier . I would like to speak with management on this issue because can ruin business. Please indicate or set a standard or get thrust worth people to handle your money. Since my first encounter at the restaurant I have spent over 400 dollars in shrimp and crawfish for my family to be...
