Best bar in San Marcos!

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Not only is it in such a cool historic building but they have a ton of parking, really good live music, food, and drinks too! There’s seating inside and outside though it’s mostly open areas. Extreme weather is the only thing that keeps me from coming here sometimes. The Bartenders here are all really caring and knowledgeable so the drinks always come out really good, exactly what you order. I like the beer and shot special that they always have. They also have something fun going on here almost every night. They have steak night on Tuesday nights. I have done karaoke here (Wednesday nights), bought records and homemade crafts (some Sundays), had a business meeting here, seen live shows, brought my dog and my son at different times. The food truck they have is bomb too. I almost always get the queso and fries but I really can’t say anything bad about anything on the menu. Are you between the ages of 23 and 35? This bar is for you. Unlike the college bars of the square, this place has a calm atmosphere, lots of community events, and is very clean (despite being an outdoor bar).

They recently opened a kitchen and the foods that I have ordered have been very tasty and inexpensive. My favorite thing to order is the pulled pork quesadilla.

The beer selection is massive and rotating. I never run out of beers to try. However, when I find one that I love, I know it won’t stay on the menu for too long.

If you are like me and get anxiety from choosing out of large selections, the bartenders are more than happy to help you find something you’ll love. Or you can do what I do and tell them something you have liked in the past and ask for a surprise.

Came here for steak night as I hadn't been here in a long while for their steaks and the only thing I was disappointed in was the fact that I got there late because baked potatoes had run out but they substituted loaded fries instead. Other than that, this place is THE best place to be in San Marcos for a steak in my opinion... Especially for the fact that it comes from a bar and it comes from a food truck you would not even know it!!! The establishment has their system down to a T and the staff let me tell you, EVERYONE is so friendly- from the door guy, to the bartenders, to the"bussers" picking up after you've finished eating to even the customers themselves. It is such a chill place and the fact that they are pet friendly I feel is a plus because it just gives me the opportunity to love on some fur babies after I finish...
