Two Brothers From Italy — Restaurant in San Marcos

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at Two Brothers Pizza, and I can't emphasize enough how disappointed I am. The pizza I received was not just bad; it was shockingly undercooked, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth, both figuratively and literally.

When I decided to call and express my dissatisfaction, the encounter with the manager only exacerbated my frustration. Instead of addressing my concerns with the care one would expect from a reputable establishment, the manager casually brushed me off, suggesting I take the matter up with DoorDash, which was completely irrelevant to my intention.

As someone who has been a loyal customer, dining at Two Brothers Pizza frequently, I had hoped that my feedback would be valued. However, to my astonishment, the manager's response was a dismissive, "What do you want me to do about it?" This blatant lack of concern for a loyal patron's opinion has left me utterly disheartened. I responded to him to say that as a manager you should want to know and care about any and all experiences your patrons encounter but sadly this was not the case.

I want to stress how deeply dissatisfied I am with this experience. It's disheartening when a restaurant not only fails to meet basic quality standards but also disregards the concerns of a devoted customer. My disappointment is immeasurable, and I've made the difficult decision to never set foot in Two Brothers Pizza again. I sincerely hope this review serves as a warning to others that if you have an issue with their food, they will not care, not one bit. Take your hard earned money and spend it at an establishment who cares about...

Food = 4-1/2 stars

Service has slid in the past year or so. Don't get me wrong the food is great. I think they have become complacent because they are so busy.

Every time I call (even early in the evening during the week) I am told it will be an hour and a half to two hours for delivery. If I call at 6:00 I won't get my order until 8:00 on a Tuesday evening?!?! Maybe it's time to get some more drivers?

The last time I picked up they were too busy for a decent greeting and a thank you.

Like I said the food is great but the service (or lack of ability to provide timely service) has me going elsewhere.

09.08.17 - Well that does it. Thought I'd try again because the food is good but not good enough to make up for crappy service.

Phoned in my order (to pick up) at 7:19 and was told it 30 minutes. It's now 8:22 and I'm still sitting here waiting. It wasn't until I asked what was taking so long that I was told my order was given to someone else. They offered me a fountain drink as compensation (wow! get real!).

The whole atmosphere is totally unprofessional with a bunch of the employees friends hanging out (not eating) one of them was doing their hair and make up at the counter.

Sorry Two Brothers you're complacency has broken me. I'm not coming back. No doubt you'll stay busy because of the growing population in our community but don't fool yourself, that's the only reason. It's definitely not because of great service.

It was my first time there. I found my new lunch spot. I ordered the 2 slice and drink combo. Both slices were the works, and the combo came out to be $8.08. The crust was so crunchy on the bottom it was so satisfying to bite into. There was not tugging or over chewy type of crust. The pizza was not greasy and the cheese was melting so good that it had this fun level of stretching that I couldn't help but play with it. I was not as impressed with the what I believe were Garlic Knots. My friend ordered it and I tried one was expected more Garlicy flavor. Overall great value for the price.
