My wife and I stumbled into Mattress Firm to look over new bedding options that we had researched. We met a gentleman named Robert Gunn who was incredibly helpful and thoughtful. I am extremely immune compromised due to illness and have to wear a mask in public spaces. I asked him to please forgive me for wearing my mask and explained that I was immune compromised and he immediately offered to wear a mask himself. I told him it was not necessary but to me just offering showed the compassion level of Robert. This was important to me and this is the beginning of what turned out to be a great time walking the showroom while he introduced me to different beds and the reasons why they were great and explained to me all the options that each bed had. I had a certain type in mind and he did not try and change my mind. He did not try and upsell me at all. He was the consummate professional and I could tell, he's a great guy. After looking at the options and testing one that my wife and I really liked, I told him we needed to think about it and we would get back with him after shopping around. He did not try and get us to stay. He did not keep talking. He said he understood and wished us luck. He made himself available for any questions that we had and that was that. I went out to the car with my wife and literally couldn't bring myself to drive away. We got back out of the car after 5 minutes sitting there and went back in and purchased the mattress set that we wanted from Robert And Mattress Firm. We subsequently purchased the Tempur-pedic Tempur- Pro Adapt in Firm, Split California King with the Ease adjustable base system for each side. Listen, If you're out shopping mattress systems in the Furniture Row area of San Marcos, you would be remiss in not at least dropping into Mattress Firm to compare pricing and product. If you're lucky, you may even catch Robert there. Or call ahead of time and get his schedule. Recently, I had the pleasure of purchasing a new bed from Andrew at this location. In the realm of sales, whether it be cars, mattresses, or PCs, Andrew stands out as a beacon of excellence from whom many could learn. My experiences in the past decade have often left me feeling misled or confused, but not this time.

Before arriving at MattressFirm, I had visited three other stores, each interaction leaving me more bewildered, almost feeling gaslighted. Five years ago, I bought a queen-sized BeautyRest Black Hybrid, which I absolutely adore. My aim was to find this same mattress but in a California King size. However, the previous stores seemed intent on steering me away from what I wanted, with one salesperson even dismissing my choice in favor of a $5800 bed they claimed I 'needed.'

Enter Andrew. His calm and welcoming approach was a breath of fresh air. He cultivated an atmosphere of trust and respect from the moment I walked through the door, making it abundantly clear that his priority was not the commission, but ensuring that my girlfriend and I found the perfect bed for a blissful rest.

Unlike my experiences elsewhere, Andrew listened and understood exactly what I was looking for, never once making me feel pressured or misunderstood. His dedication to customer satisfaction and genuine care in finding the right product for us was truly remarkable.

Summary: buying a mattress through Mattress Firm was smooth and easy - from selecting a mattress, financing and until delivery, A++ unlike Living Spaces who botched my delivery! (See my reviews on google/yelp)

My mattress search began a month ago via Living Spaces and Mattress Firm. I went to both about 4x each and tried out many mattresses. I originally decided on one from Living Spaces but they completely messed my order up and “lost it” so it never made it on the delivery truck thus leading me to cancel my order outright and go with Mattress Firm.

The day my LS order was messed up, I immediately drove to MF in San Marcos. I worked with David J. who was very nice. He was very informative about all mattresses available without being pushy what so ever. I never felt any pressure to purchase anything at any time but being in a bind for a bed ASAP, I decided on a Sealy Chil hybrid mattress and set up delivery for the next day after about 30 mins of trying out beds and doing research online regarding models on the showroom floor. Financing was a breeze and Dave even found me an extra coupon on top of existing deals they had!

Mattress Firm contacted me a few hours after purchasing to confirm the next days delivery. The day of, I got a phone call about 2 hours before the scheduled 2 hour window and then again about 30 mins out from their arrival. They took away my old mattress set and installed my new one in minutes. Super easy and super smooth!

Buying a new mattress was stressful at first but when things got hectic, Mattress Firm DEFINITELY delivered, literally! A+++
