Update: came here a week ago, and wrote the below review. Today, did a phone order (talked to someone) drove off the freeway and parked just to come here. Huge line, people were leaving because they were waiting too long, I finally get to the cashier and they don't have my order. Since they were so behind and understaffed, I just walked out while other customers were leaving as well. Staff was frazzled, but trying hard! Management, this is when to step up and show up. Just went from five stars to two stars.
A week ago:
I was just here this morning, and had to write a review immediately. The menu is super good here, and the food even better. And it doesn't feel like a rip-off. I got two items, spent about $16, and it was a lot of food/drink!
I ordered: the avocado toast with soft-boiled egg on Rye. It was not soggy at all (like I read on another review) - easy to fix this by the fact that you pick your bread. I had it on Rye, and soooo good!! Also, packaged very well for to-go orders.
I ordered a fresh pressed juice as well. The "D" has apple, orange, carrot, and beet. I may be missing a few ingredients, but it was so well-balanced, and I drank it before I got home.

Read moreI was pleasantly surprised with this place. I got two generous sized pieces of toasted bread with avocado, provolone, and bacon. They were delicious and filling.
The place was empty except for three old men and I think they were owners or related to the people working there. No wait, served immediately.
Small place, better for take out, will not fit large groups. Maybe 4 tables max with 2 seats each.
I'd go again, and it was worth the price. I don't know how much an avocado costs in California, but where I live you'd pay $7 for that much avocado anyway not including the bread and the cheese and the bacon and you'd still have to make it yourself!
Skip the smoothie though, that's a waste of money. It was boring and tasteless.
But the toast is yummy. I hope this place stays around long enough for me to visit again my next...
Read moreI didn’t have a good experience at all! I was actually on my way to get pizza but I decided to stop by and order a sandwich. I wasn’t greeted, at all, tables were stacked on each other, everything seemed really messy, I assumed they just opened until I saw these reviews. Also, I don’t know if they were managers or the owners but two people were sitting off to the side and they seemed so unprofessional. It felt like I barged in their living room by the way they had their feet sprawled out and were talking and laughing so loud! The food was not good at all, my chicken looked and smelled like cat food. There was no flavor at all and not worth that long wait. I do not recommend anyone to come here. Try Mr. pickles instead, I think it’s about a 5 min drive from this weird avacado...
