Tacos Al Vapor Michoacan — Restaurant in Burlingame

I just moved to the area. I was really excited to try a new taco truck and hopefully it would be it but this wasn’t it. I’ll tell you why…… CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED!!! The lady who took my order was super rude. At first I thought it was a miscommunication so the first time she was rude to me. I ignored it after that she kept saying six to me. And I didn’t get it until I realize she’s asking for money cause she didn’t say six dollars after I got my food. I guess she asked me if I wanted salsa and I didn’t understand her so I asked her if I could get salsa and she said, “ THAT’S WHY I ALREADY ASKED YOU AND YOU SAID NO!” Well dang I looked at her and I finally said to her I didn’t understand you. I didn’t get a thank you and I just got my tacos and I knew from that second whether the tacos were good or not that I would not be returning learn to have good customer service, especially when someone’s taking pictures of the truck. You know they’re gonna be doing a review I’ll be trying to look for another taco truck.. as far as the food goes it was OK. The tortillas were pretty good what I want a lot of them. Me and my mom love these tacos and we come almost every Thursday, so much so that they even know my name. Although this experience that I had will guarantee we won’t be coming back no matter how good the tacos. We ordered our tacos of various meats and then went to sit in the car to wait (since we know the wait is long because it’s busy) after about 20 minutes in the car we get out and waited in front of the truck. We see all the people that got there before us get there food and suddenly the people that had gotten there AFTER us started getting their food too. We gave them the benefit of th doubt and continued to wait. After a full 45 minutes I go up to the window to NICELY ask why we hadn’t gotten our tacos so my mom wouldn’t have to go up and be rude (she has quite the temper), I was completely ignored at first and when she finally did listen to be she seemed very unconcerned about what I had to say. When our order was found they proceeded to tell us the meat we want on our tacos ran out when we had been there for a whole 45 minutes. A group of us Para professionals preordered 8/27. First time calling in. I frequent this truck food is scrumptious. I had witnessed incidents where employees are not nice when using tone with customers. My colleague asked for ice, the cashier yelled and made her feel stupid for asking. I on this day approached the 2nd window where you pick up orders. Yes busy as usual at the ordering window. I wanted to ask cashier at #2 if would pick up here or should I get in line. For some un for seen reason LA Planchera, turned around from task and yelled at me in Spanish, she mimicked me for speaking English? I don't understand why? I reacted harshly to her unexpected remark and acted the same. Mind you it escalated...and she told me to go the end of the line. All I wanted to know is...is this the window to pick up? FYI I worked with my family at Taqueria Angelicas on Camino. She has cameras, She has a great system no complaints ever for customer service. Perhaps the employees need more space to work in seems they are under pressure. It's a shame that CS is low.( No the customer is not always right) I regret...
