What a great addition to the Burlingame area. It’s nice to have great places not on Burlingame ave especially for us locals.

Those familiar with the San Carlos location already know the drill but for those of us that are new this is a fantastic brunch establishment.

Pros: food we had was amazing. Tried to cream mushroom and egg toast. Nice portions and really tasty. Same great reviews of the avocado toast. The wait once you order isn’t too bad. The staff is super super nice and the vibe of the whole place is excellent. If instagramable brunch spot is a thing this is definitely it.

Cons: this place is hyped up right now so expect a decent line during any prime times. They just opened up so a lot of their fans from San Carlos and new Burlingame fans checking them out. There is a decent amount of seating but it’s a small space and outside can get full too. As long as you are prepared for a wait it is worth it.

Stopped in to try the food today. It was a little busy but the line seemed to move. Ordered rainbow waffle, 2 orders of avocado salmon toast, Nutella berry toast and curry chicken sandwich. The waffle came out semi quick. Then we got one order of avocado salmon toast. Then maybe 5 or so minutes later we got the second order, and the Nutella berry toast. Not sure why cause it seems like they should have made both together. Then we got an item that we didn't order. So 10 to 15 mins pass and still no sandwich still doesn't come out. The waitress asked to take our table number and we told her we were still waiting on one item. Figure she would have asked and go check on the item, but nothing. So the table next to us is also waiting for food, even though they arrived after we did and it turned out somehow they had two different orders for table #3. Had to flag someone down and ask for our missing sandwich then they brought it out, mind you everyone else at the had had already finished eating by now. Food is pretty good. Service seems to need work even though they have been open for a while. The portion size is small...

Food was very good, that is after an argument with the staff. The staff brought out the wrong item to the table and I stated that it was not the item I ordered. After a couple minutes they bring the same item back, and again I tell them that's not what I ordered.

They then tell me it's what was on the screen of the cash register so it was my fault for not seeing the mistake. They continue to repeat that over and over and say that we can order and pay, again, for the correct item.

I could see where the confusion could be made considering the two items were named very similarly, however telling me and my partner over and over again that it was our fault from both the cashier and another coworker (possibly manager), is not okay. Not to mention making us pay for a whole other item just to get what we ordered in the first place.

The first domino to fall in this mess will always lie in the fact that the staff incorrectly took my order, and they refused to be accountable for their own mistake, nor be cooperative in finding a solution other then us...
