I’ve been here many times prior to the Pandemic. Their gyros are excellent! The owner is very friendly. I haven’t tried everything but what I have tried I like. I haven’t gotten much takeout since the pandemic started and recently I really had a serious craving for their gyros. I hadn’t known that Marin County had opened up to indoor dining. I was shocked see 6 maskless customers in that tiny space. The cook (very young kid) was wearing a mask but the elastic was pretty worn out and his nose was exposed. We ordered fries “extra crispy” and they were underdone. While I don’t want this business to close down, the region is not ready for indoor maskless dining even though the county has clearly given in to political pressure. I will not be returning until after I’ve been vaccinated at the very least. I hope they survive until then. Judging from the ridiculous number of 1 star reviews, they better get their act together soon or they won’t survive. Customers are what keep places open, take them for granted and they can easily go somewhere else. The food is good but it...
Read moreMy sister and I needed something quick and tasty on our way back home from an out of town trip and got the lamb gyro plate with the side of falafel. The owner was beyond welcoming and greeted my sister and I with a wonderful attitude and even gave us suggestions on what to order. The falafel had a nice crunchy exterior and soft fluffy inside (made on the spot) and the meat was so flavorful, delicious, and not dry like some other gyro meats I’ve had before. The pita was excellent—thick and really fluffy! The presentation was also really well done! The only criticism I have is the falafel and tzatziki could’ve had a tad bit more flavor, but all the positives made up for it. Will be back if I’m ever in San...
Read moreNot verified halal. Meat was raw. Called and asked multiple time, they said they were halal. But after eating there carelessly we realized no where in the restaurant did we see a halal sign. They also sell alcohol. Trust with your own judgement with that knowledge. Paid about $50 for 2 chicken shawarma and 1 plate. Yes, it's super expensive. And unfortunately meat quality, rice, and shawarma were flavorless. Not to mention, meat was raw as you can see in the picture posted. It's more of a Mediterranean food place for white people, not so much Muslims who've had experience eating at Mediterranean restaurants. Not going to lie, but it's the first time I craved McDonalds after the...
