The instructors and Kelly were fantastic. The facilities are top notch. My daughter had a wonderful time. However, they really need to allow parents access to the rooms during checkout. The practice of having everyone's suitcases in one room may expedite checkout, but prevents parents from being able to make sure the children didn't leave anything behind. My daughter left many things at camp and we weren't able to double check. If she were a teenager, it would be one thing, but she is very young and doesn't think on that level yet.... Unfortunately, Nike needs to stick to BUSINESS, not political or social issues. Given the recent position taken by Nike, my family will not be supporting Nike in any fashion, including purchasing products or sending our daughter to Nike camps for the foreseeable future. It's a shame, but I am tired of Nike insulting the beliefs and values...
Read moreMy daughter just completed the Nike Tennis Camp at IVC. She’s 7 years old and a true tennis beginner. I was worried initially because I thought she would be the youngest and might have trouble making friends or that the instructors might ignore the little kids in favor of the older ones. No need to worry at all. She loved this camp! There were a bunch of kids her age, she made lots of friends, and the activities were all age appropriate (lots of games, playtime, etc). She loved all of the coaches too. Best of all, the camp has sparked a desire in her to learn more tennis. If you have a younger kid, I would highly recommend. We will do it...
Read moreMy daughter attended this camp June 2021. Most of the players are solid tennis players though there were a couple beginners. The coaches were very positive and upbeat. Great staff. They played a lot of tennis, including warm ups, drills, and tons of match play every day. They broke the kids into 6 teams and they would compete against each other in both singles and doubles. It was tons of fun for the kids. The lunches were awesome. Many choices and best pizza ever (according to my daughter). The parents were allowed to sit and watch in the beginning or toward the end which was nice to be able to see them play. Very good energy...
