IHOP — Restaurant in Sand Springs

I have truly never have had the worst experience at an IHOP. First off I'm a big person because not only my weight but of my lymphademia. So we moved to a table. Now minding our business having fun with my husband talking and laughing. In walks the set of teens that had left 10 mins after we got there. One of them walked to the booth they was in and then came over to us. Accused my husband of stealing his wallet from the booth just cuz he looked suspect. That was this kids words exactly. So when we get up set and voices was raised in come the Manger and instead of seeing what was going on. She Just started screaming at my husband and I to get out she's calling the cops. Are you serious we have done nothing wrong and you just assume because of the way he looks that we took the wallet. Well news flash not everyone looks like stuck up snobs rich goodie two shoes in sand spring. That have mommy and daddy's money to go waste. Not once did she even try to get our side of anything or better yet go watch your tapes. No she yells at us till we are out the door. Police of course called and we stayed right there cuz we did no wrong. As our names are being ran like criminals the teenager comes back with oh hey guys my bad I found it it was in the back seats where I couldn't see it. Then your lovely IHOP MANAGER then says you all are Banned. Not that I care anything about being banned. But maybe it's management needs some training on how not to discriminate and profile people just with the way they look. Maybe you should take the time to treat everyone in a situation like, the same way you treated the silver spoon feed teenagers you had in your place.... You was wrong and you know you was by banning the teenagers to when they thought laughing it up and saying whoops after finding they wallet. I'm extremely just disgusted of your judgment and hope that the next time anyone that comes into your place you actually don't judge people for how they look. All IHOP’s are are a hit or miss but usually it’s a satisfying experience. However, the Sand Springs, OK is the worst. We had a party of seven plus a high chair but the restaurant was not busy. The woman gave a table (booth)that sat six at best so one of our party was sitting on a chair she pulled up which did not fit well next to the high chair. We ordered four coffees which took a while to get but no creamer. We told the waiter who, by the way, was not very happy about his job, that we would like some half & half & some French vanilla creamer which he repeated. It was 5-10 minutes before he came back & then he had brought the wrong creamer. He took our order & I asked if I could have French vanilla. It was another 5-10 minutes until he brought that back. By this time my coffee was lukewarm so I asked home for another cup. My husband & son in law also needed a refill. We didn’t get that refill until after our food came. I asked for pecan syrup but was told they only had regular flavor. The one thing that I really like about IHOP is the different flavors of syrup so I was very disappointed. I was hoping that he would come back with a coffee pot to ask if we wanted another refill but he didn’t. I also tried stopping other wait staff but they acted as though they were deliberately ignoring us, with one waitress all but bumping our table as she rounded the corner. No one acted very service oriented. I was once a waitress so I know that at times you can get busy & forget some things but they weren’t busy. I got one cup of coffee the whole time I was there & as the driver I was really wanting some coffee to keep me alert. The most horrible experience I've ever had at I hope I've never been treated with such disrespect I arrived at, The restaurant at 5:18 a.m. this morning I And one other person was the only Customers in the restaurant the waiter come to me and ask me what I would like to drink I told him water with lemon I made the decision on what I wanted was Going to order crepes combo with Patty sausage and eggs basted soft With hash Browns at 10 minutes till 6:00 a.m. I still had not received my food I got up to tell the young man that I was leaving, The waiter advised me your food's ready it was sitting in the window underneath heat lamps when he brought the food to my table there was 2 slices of burnt bacon and my eggs had not been basted a side note the cook had came out earlier and ask me how wanted my eggs she just Wanted to make sure. I honest believe she did not know how to based eggs. I asked the waiter would you eat something like this the bacon is Burt I didn't want bacon I wanted sot Patti sausage he turned around and walked away and said I can't deal with you. so then I went to the kitchen and the cook came out and looked at my food and I said would you really serve this to anyone her response was O I can get you some different bacon I said I didn't order bacon I wanted Patty sausage it's too late I have to go to work the most ridiculous experience I've ever had I'll never go back to this restaurant could not recommend...
