RibCrib BBQ — Restaurant in Sand Springs

I would like to start this review by letting everyone know that the wait staff are excellent. From the hostess on back to the grind slingers. Where the breakdown starts is in the kitchen. The food gets worse every time we decide to peall the door open, it's like they remember who you are by your complaints. But, it's like they are buying cheaper meats and vegetables to cover the costs of the extra steps due to Covid19. And, still keep the same profit margins. I bought a family meal that would feed 6-8 people. And, I chose the following meats brisket-chicken-sticky & sweet ribs, with the following salad w/ranch - mashed potatoes & gravy - baked beans - fried okra + the loaf of bread and BBQ sauce. The cost of the meal was a total of $63.16 + tip of 6.31= $69.47, because it was to go. Then decided that I should get a gallon of iced tea, which added a additional $7 + to the total, so now I have spent a total of $77. and some change on the meal that would become a total waste of money. I called back and asked to speak with management and spent nearly 12 minutes on hold before getting frustrated and really angry, so I hung up. And spent the next 3 days feeding the animals, what 4 adults and 3 children was hoping to have a good meal together. But the animals don't care either way. If you don't live around the corner from the Rib Crib don't order a meal that doesn't travel well some 25 minutes away. I started to call my card holder and just dispute the charge. But decided to give RC a chance to make it right after reading this honest experience of the Sand Springs Oklahoma Rib Crib. Otherwise just pass them on by and keep your wallet in your pocket till you find...

Update 3/26/24- Rib Crib sent me a $30 reward due to the bad experience. We decided to give them another shot tonight. Placed a to-go order for 4 meals for pickup around 6:45 PM. All food was hot, delicious and prepared correctly. Portions were large. Not a single family member had a complaint even the picky eater lol. I appreciate the offer to make it right, and I really appreciate the good experience in doing so. Thank you Rob Crib Sand Springs.

Placed a to-go order for pickup, was supposed to be ready at 8:14 PM. Get there and took a minute to greet us but the young lady seemed like she was doing everything on her own. (She is the ONLY reason this review is 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1) Was told my one sandwich and fries was plated for dine-in and give them 5 minutes to bag it up. Everyone who came in after me picked theirs up and left. 25 minutes later, I got my food. It was correct though; I’ll give them that. 5 mins to the house. Immediately get it out to eat and it’s barely like warm. Fries seem like they’ve been sitting out all day, not fresh at all. Sandwich bun is doughy, or soggy?? I can’t really tell, but I couldn’t even chew more than a couple of bites without gagging. Just not good food. I paid $10, which isn’t bad for a pulled pork sandwich, but it was really a waste of a meal and my money because I couldn’t even swallow down half of it. The fries are just...

I frequently eat at your store in sand Springs. Or should I say I used to. The food has always been less than spectacular but the service more than made up for it. I would always ask to sit where I could be served by patty. Not sure of last name. Last evening I dined there for possibly the last time. The ribs I was served were extremely dry like days old dry. The service was pitiful. When I asked to sit in Patty's area, they said she had been dismissed. Btw...service was virtually all you had going for u at this store. When asked how everything was by the waitress...I said worst ribs I've ever been served and service was slow and distant. She insisted the manager who I never even saw discount my meal. This is not what I wanted. In fact after waiting nearly 30 min to get my ticket so I could pay and leave, I would have much rather paid full or maybe even double just to have gotten out of there. Idk where patty is but u need to find her and more like her as well as stop serving old dried out food. I think it's to late for me but I'd fix it before you run everyone else off. Thank...
