Not really sure why but I tend to gravitate towards diners, probably because they were prevalent where I grew up.

This was our first visit and it was top tier from the start. Promptly greeted and seated. Drink order taken and delivered while we perused the menu. I had the patty melt and my wife had the Philadelphia sandwich. Patty melt was good, above average but nothing exceptional - but then, it's a cheeseburger on toast, not much to work with. Fries were exceptional; shoestring fried to firm, one step before crispy. Philly was out of this world! I don't know if they marinated the beef, added something to the peppers or what but it's one of the best I've had in Oklahoma. 5 stars for sure.

We normally don't order desserts but the server was so good - and we had time to kill so WTH; why not. Apple pie for me, turtle cheesecake for the wife. Pie was pleasing, flaky lattice crust excellent balance of fruit, sugar and spices. The turtle cheesecake was so good, I'd drive to Sand Springs just for the dessert.

If you're in Sand Springs, they're on Lincoln just off of 2nd Street. Search them out, you're taste buds and tummy...

I usually only eat breakfast here and it’s delicious. However, My first time eating dinner here was June 27,2018. Before I ordered I was told Thursday night dinner is way better with more flavor. I still went on ahead and order the special of butterfly pork chops. I was amazed for the huge portion for only $7.99. Sadly there was absolutely no flavor. Pork chop was grilled with no seasoning. Corn straight out the can flavor (hint no seasoning or nothing), mash potatoes kind of saved the day with the white gravy but still just soooo basic in flavor. Mashed potatoes were definitely real potatoes and not the nasty powder. This place Has soooo much potential and I hope the chef takes It more serious. Especially since sand springs is rapidly growing. I defiantly wanna come back on a Thursday night and try that chefs food. I would rather spend money here than Colton’s cafe any day. I just gotta pack my own seasoning...

I arrived at about 1:30 in the afternoon for lunch. I asked the waitress what the specials were and she showed me the board and I chose the meatloaf. At 2:15 I was finally served my meatloaf. I was one minute from leaving. The waitress was dressed with a pair of pants that was cleared down around her butt, it was covered with a t-shirt but it was not appropriate,in my opinion, for this type of dress for somebody serving food. A party of six came in after me and their food were served before mine. Apparently the meatloaf had to be made but was not told this after I ordered. I would have been happy to pick something else to eat with no complaints . I have eaten breakfast many times with no complaints. Always good food and service. It may be awhile before I decided to eat lunch. One good thing. The...

My husband does breakfast with friends here. This was my first time. I'm not going to lie, I didn't have high hopes for this place. But oh was I wrong! The service was friendly and ATTENTIVE. I just can't say enough good things about the food! Fresh, appropriate temperature, nice size servings and the taste was great! That was the best fried okra I've had in many years! 😋 We will probably become regulars. 🙂 **Note: I wasn't able to give five stars for one big reason: It was HOT in there. We were wearing shorts and sticking to the seats. Apparently it's the norm for the owner to be conservative with both the AC and heat. (Per staff)

I got the hamburger steak, mashed potatoes & green beans. The hamburger steak was edible & the green beans weren't the worst I've ever had but the mashed potatoes were the absolute worst I've ever experienced in my 59 years of life & I had an Aunt that could boil water. I literally couldn't eat them & I've never met a bad potatoe. A little surprised by how horrible they were. The taste was a cross between old stale rolls & what I imagine a dirty foot taste like. I expected homemade fresh mashed 🥔, not nasty instant. It came with a roll that was decent. 🍞

loved this hole in wall diner. breakfast served all day. today I ordered the Philadelphia steak sandwich and it was amazing. Hoagie bun was toasted perfectly adding a good soft crunch to the mix. steak was Mixes with onions, peppers, mushrooms, and the right amount of cheese. I highly recommend this sand. got a side salad and it was a nice little side. service was great. greated at the door, was given the option to choose our seat, and the lady took our drink orders and passed us off to our server. excellent Experience
