I tried to have dinner there on a Sunday night at 8:20pm, that is over one hour before the posted time of closing. As I was waiting for my friend to arrive I was told ever so rudely by my waitress (who never actually invited me to place an order) that if I didn't order food within 5 minutes then I would have to leave because the kitchen would be closing. If this was the case then the hostess never should have seated me in the first place when I informed her upfront that I was meeting my friend there. If they have changed the closing time then they need to post the proper closing time. I've never heard of a restaurant not taking food orders a whole hour prior to closing time. My friend was moments from walking through the door to join me but I made the decision to get up and leave. In the five minutes I was sitting at my table, looking at the menu to decide what to order, I had overheard the waitress take a terrible tone to another table of patrons. In the midst of the incident, when I attempted to inform the waitress that she did not need to speak the situation in such a way that made it seem that me trying to give her my business was bothering her, indeed the waitress huffed and rolled her eyes at me and walked away. Really inappropriate. And really unnecessary. I've been patronizing this restaurant for the last two years and I've usually had decent experiences... but if this is the kind of service they find acceptable I feel no need to show up to request that kind of human interaction nor do I feel any urge to offer that type of person my money. Sadly, my friend just moved down the block from your restaurant and I was forseeing us making this a frequent dining spot but after tonight, no way, we won't be back. Bangkok Thyme if you are reading this, for the sake of your restaurant you really need to hire people who know how to offer a basic level of respect to...

I have had lunch and dinner there so the special rolls are excellent and the Thai food is delicious! I am a fan of red curry and their red curry lunch special with coconut soup and some rolls hits the spot. My niece ordered the pineapple curry fried rice and was very happy with her selection.

Read moreThis place does not deserve one star. Wanted to visit this place because "Atlanta Eats” said it was great food. So I go in on December 3, 2018 for lunch. Was not to busy, I ordered the coconut soup and a sushi roll.
What I remember - HORRIBLE SOUP! after to sips it tasted like someone urinated in it and as far as the Sushi roll, was not up to grade at all...! everybody wearing dirty clothing...!
Service was not attentive and they were sloppy, clothing looked like they had not wash in few days, dirty shoes, waiter seemed to have known what kind of product he was serving me and did not care....soon after I'm hearing chatter and laughing in the back waiter/waitress area.
Another disturbing thing that I witnessed was the Sushi Chef began sweeping the floor while I waited to make my order, what bothered me the most was he actually looked like a latino dishwasher and not sure he washed his hands after sweeping!
I have not been back since and do not plan ever setting foot in that...
