Was looking for something close by, not too dressy with good italian to meet-up for an unplanned business meeting. Googled and this came up. They seated the two of us without reservations (awesome) and appetizers were on the way. Took it bit longer than I was expecting to get our food but upon its arrival everything looked and tasted great. As we ate this "guy" began cleaning the table next to us. He seemed to enjoy the moment and was very diligent in his efforts to make sure it was spotless. His attention to detail prompted me to suggest "you must be the owner." His response "yes, and thank you for joining us for dinner. I hope you enjoy." That personal touch...deserves a revisit! Thanks!

I can’t rave enough about my experience here. A friend and I walked in on Sunday early evening and we were sat right away. Also tons of parking outside. Once at our table our server came quickly and brought water and then returned with bread. Luis was fantastic! All meals were fantastic and we enjoyed our drinks as well, I got a French 75. We stayed awhile catching up and Luis was so courteous and we never felt rushed. I would absolutely come back again to try other meals but they have to put me in Luis section if he’s working! :) great dinner and beautiful restaurant as well.

Whoa!! The flavor of each dish bursted out with character & simply was amazing! The customer service is perfect. You are started off with a basket of thick yet super soft bread. The menu varies but seems to have several options. The wine menu is a forever going list. The margherita pizza & the carbonara pasta.. WOW.. it is what I would describe as AUTHENTIC & FRESH. I enjoyed how thick the pasta noodles were.. I will say the truffle fries was average. Nonetheless, I am sorry.. Maggiano's has nothing on this level of Italian awesomeness. I will be visiting again & soon!

We loved this place a few years ago when we lived in Sandy Springs and came to Cibo e Beve this evening for dinner after a couples massage. The food was good but service was slow, not on point, and our waiter was completely disengaged. I don't expect to be treated like I'm at a four -star but the waiter should at least act like he cares. He would rush and run constantly while attending all if his time at the table next to us. We got the appetizer with the spicy capiccola, prosciutto, and cheese with some candied walnuts (which I think are just the bourbon-candied pecans from the Whole Foods nearby), but there were only three small thin pieces of crostini to go with the meats, and they didn't bring our bread until after we asked after our appetizer finally arrived (an appetizer that requires no effort but grabbing stuff and putting it on a wood block). The bread had three small slices and I joked with my spouse that of all if the things to skimp on bread and crostini are poor choices because they're the cheapest thing there! The place has lost its charm for us, even though the food is good. It's not worth $33 for a filet. We didn't bother to get dessert because we were tired of being disappointed by our waiter. We wanted to know what kind of pinot (what year, etc.) because he took the menus before even taking our order by stopping, taking our menus as if talking our order (although that's weird because sometimes people need to see the menu to point there's own out), and then rushing to the table next to us and completely ignoring us. It felt like he was taking our menus away for taking too long to choose. When I said I'd love to know more information about the wine, and he dropped our ticket off so quickly without giving us a chance to stop him (the way he was the entire time), he commented that he's just a guy who moves fast. He didn't say anything like "What can I help you with" just really cold. I am not extremely picky but I expect service to support these price point and I get better service at Waffle House on a sleepy Sunday morning when I don't want to go anywhere. Another weird thing happened when he was talking once again forever to the people behind us. They asked what Cibo e Beve means and he said "food and dance" which made me chuckle because anyone remotely familiar with Italian knows that Beve shares the same root as the word beverage. We acted like decent people and still gave a decent tip (20%) but he could have gotten much better. Two entrees, a skimpy appetizer plate, and one glass of wine later we were over $90. We paid for a pleasant experience and got a waiter that belongs at Golden Corral. He was tall, dark, with short cropped hair and glasses. Oh, and he told the table behind us that he's been there for five years, but when I asked for a favorite I got just a couple of years ago he says he didn't remember them every second it although at the time it was...

The very unpleasant service began right at the host stand. We were about 1/2 hour early for our Sunday Easter Brunch reservation. We were told it would be only a few minutes before our table would be ready. Which was perfectly fine with us, since we were early. The problem is the waiting/lobby area is so tiny that you and the other customers coming/going are stepping on each other's feet.

Once seated, everything started off great. The server brought us water right away and gave us a moment to decide on drinks. He seemed to get frustrated with my mother-in-law, when she could not decide on a drink (after asking for certain drinks and being told they did not offer those). He never offered her any suggestions, instead I'm quickly looking through their wine list to find something she might enjoy. Finally deciding to settle on a mimosa. I tell the server her drink request and seems to then get my husband's drink order. Only later to find out he had told my husband he will be back. He came back eventually, to take our food order. I was the only one to receive a drink, plus he never asked my husband for his drink order. So we order their drinks and wait for his return. While taking our order, confuses my mother-in-law about her meal having a side or not. What an ordeal. The server did come back to confirm she got a side and never returned until after the host brought out our long awaited meals. In the mean time, we are completely out of waters and my husband was tea. I tried to get up to get us some service only to find they had packed some many people and tables you could barely move around.

Even though the drinks and meals were absolutely delicious, we will never go back. We wanted to leave so badly that we didn't even want to hear what wonderful desserts or after-dinner drinks they offered. This was a horrible first impression. Maybe this happened because it was...

The restaurant was nice and cozy. It was our first time there. We had seen their menu when we had checked on Google and we liked what they offered but when we got there we were told that the menu had been changed. We decided to try it any way. We ordered calamari, chicken parmigiana, and lasagna. We were very didappointed. The pasta for the chicken parmigiana was hard not cooked how it should be. When we asked to exchange we exam ed that the pasta was not cooked properly and the managerror tried to tell us that it was gluten free ( which we never asked for) and that is the reason it was gummy. My daughter then requested to have spaghetti so don't meatballs. The dish was ok. NOTHING I would rave about. The lasagna was just ok and the dish for ravioli stuffed with ricotta and spinacheck was also just ok. The portion was so small that we thought it was an appetizer. We could not believe that his was the portion for an entrée. When were ready to leave, I walked out first on the countries the that I was getting a headache. Later my husband told me that the spaghetti and 2 meatballs had been $17. I was floored. You would think that with the screw up of the online pasta, that they would have at least discounted my daughters entree. This had to be the most expensive spaghetti and meatballs we have paid for. Don't get me wrong I was not looking for a discount but I also did not expect to pay this much for this very simple dish. We wanted to try something different but it did not work out with this restaurant. If you want good Italian where your portions ate ginormous, go to Pasta Bella in Austell. I don't think you would be...
