4 stars ONLY because there isn’t a non-smoking section.

We went for lunch. Food is great! We ordered queso with salsa on the side. My boyfriend ordered the grilled cheese and I ordered the blackened tenders.

Queso is great! For $8 you get ALOT! Chips are also fresh as our waitress warned us to be careful because they were extremely hot and still a little greasy.

My boyfriend said his was delicious, and I will say the same for mine. Chicken was very tender. Nice size for the tender, much bigger than places that specialize in chicken tenders.

The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because this location allows smoking. We have ate lunch at other bars before but they didn’t allow smoking during the day or inside and we went to this facility thinking it would be the same.

If you’re not a smoker, it is off putting to have the smell of smoke around you. The only escape from the smoke is the bathroom, (or the patio which isn’t enclosed) which was kept clean.

Honestly it made me wonder how the food was cooked (ie was the kitchen full of smoke too?) because the bar was right next to the kitchen and majority of the smokers were sitting at the bar.

Overall we enjoyed it, minus the smoke, as I do have asthma. But we really wanted to try this place as the reviews are great and didn’t know about the smoking until after we were there.

Definitely would go back again but only for takeout. Owner, is it possible to build an enclosure around the bar or to limit the hours people can smoke? Non smokers would love to patronize your business, but my health can’t take sitting in...

I've debated posting this review for awhile now, because this place is such a gem I don't want to share it with others, but they deserve to have their praises sung, so here we go: Food - AMAZING BAR FOOD! First time ever I'm working through the whole menu, because I haven't had a bad thing yet. A lot of their sauces/dressings are made by hand, meats breaded by hand and their daily specials are almost always sold out because they are sooo good! They taught me how nachos should be made (see photo of nachos on a COOKIE SHEET) Atmosphere - Where do I begin? The bar is a fun, rustic, comfy place to relax. The owner has been there everytime I've gone, makes sure to greet you and remembers your name. The bartenders are on their game, not only learning your name, but what you like and make good drinks. Also, they have theme nights; I highly recommend Bingo night. Not only do they have prizes, but you can win drinks between games and the owner calling the numbers is hilarious. Bingo is not just for grandparents anymore! And they have a paint-and-drink night that I definitely want to try and looked like so much fun. Smoking - Yes, you can smoke, but the ventilation is fantastic. I can meet my non-smoking friends and hangout while smoking and it doesn't bother them at all. Basically "Cheers" has nothing on this wonderful place and I only hope that this review doesn't make it so there's no longer an open seat next time I can go. I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to on this place. My daughter had a soccer tournament nearby, and I quickly Googled food in the area after a game. We’re not local, so I looked at the menu online and chose it solely based on that. Did I do enough research to see that it was a dive bar before I took my kid? Absolutely not. Sat down and realized it wasn’t a typical family bar and grill, asked the waitress if my 13 yr old was allowed to be there, and she welcomed us with open arms. Yes, they allow smoking… I can feel the judgment coming. 🙄 But the food was absolutely delicious and the staff was incredible!! My daughter got 12 pieces of fish and a salad for $15 for lunch and had dinner leftovers on the way home. (She said it was the some of the best fish she’s ever had.) My quesadilla was massive, and the mozzarella sticks were homemade! Hats off to the cook and the really nice guy who brought the food to our table!! The waitress, that seemed like the owner or manager, was so kind to us and even directed me to a local Walmart since Google maps was trying to take me to several out of the way on the road to our next game an hour away. As we left, she wished my daughter good luck at her next game, too. Super great service - thank you so much for the hospitality!! A true reminder of why “hole in the wall” places are...
