I'm not a huge donut fan, however I stopped in Davinci's recently because I was actually craving an iced coffee after leaving my appointment. Once I entered, I saw the wide selection of donuts and knew I had to try them! I purchased the 4 pack of donuts for $4.95 and I'm so glad that I did! The donuts are made fresh daily and they were soft, light and very good! They're also not the typical large donut size, perfect for a sweet treat or to go along with a cup of coffee. The only thing I'd change is to heat them slightly, but it's still delicious room temperature! I ordered Coffee Chocolate Chip, Caramel Crunch, Maple Bacon and Cinnamon & Sugar donuts. I had such a hard time choosing those four so I'll DEFINITELY be returning to try the other flavors very soon. Oh they also have a create your own donut area with a wide variety of toppings to choose from - so it would be great for the kids or the experimentalist! I hope a location on the southside comes up soon because this is quite a drive from my home and work!

Looking for a doughnut and coffee before hitting the road. Tried Da Vinci's Donuts. Da Vinci's is tucked under an apartment complex with a few other restaurants. All of their the donuts are born as little cake donuts with a variety of toppings. No traditional greasy fritters with icing or yeasty donuts that melt in your mouth. You will need a medium to large coffee or tea to wash these lil babies down. They are tasty and just the right size. The service is pleasant, and they have a variety of flavors, the bacon topping is good, and the fruity pebble topping is good. I'm going to grade Da Vinci's: one glazed donut and a small coffee(2 stars) a first try for those that prefer cake-like donuts. I will stick with the traditional grease and glaze.

Stopped by this donut shop to give it a try. It’s a small space but has a pretty neat setup. They make one type of cake donut as the base and then customize it with different toppings. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of cake donuts, so overall, it was just okay for me. That being said, some of the toppings stood out—the maple bacon donut was definitely the best, and the Samoa was also pretty good. The others, though, were a bit underwhelming. The cinnamon donut was especially disappointing—really dry and lacking any actual cinnamon flavor. Not sure I’d come back, but it was cool to try something different. If you’re into cake donuts, it might be worth checking out, but if not, it’s probably a one-time visit.

Stopped into this location this past Saturday morning around 9am for the first time. There were hardly any cars in the parking lot which was great. I was able to take my time ordering and not feel rushed. The gentlemen working the front was very welcoming and friendly. After glancing over all the different flavors that were made that morning I decided to order all 16 flavors.

You can mix-and-match from any of the specialty donuts they have displayed that day or you can make your own, choosing toppings to put onto a plain donut or one already prepared. Da Vinci's donuts are cake based as opposed to yeast. That being said, the donuts themselves are extremely light and tender with a slightly crunchy exterior due to the cake batter. When you bite into them, the texture is fluffy and moist. I will say that the donuts are smaller than your typical donut size, however, they are packed with so much flavor and toppings that the size is actually deceiving.

Out of the 16 flavors I ordered these were my favorites in no particular order: Caramel Crunch -Oreo -Maple Bacon -Strawberry Shortcake -Coffee Chip -Chocolate Iced

The reason I ordered the 16 donut box is because the price per donut was cheaper then getting 4 or 8 donuts. If you order one donut the price is $1.35 BEFORE TAX. However, the more you order the price per donut decreases (i.e. 4 donuts is $1.23 per donut, 8 donuts is $1.15 per donut and 16 donuts is $0.93 per donut). I paid $16.00 AFTER TAX for the 16 donut box.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and the donuts I ordered! Here's a helpful tip: Eat the donuts the SAME DAY you order. The donuts become a little dry the next day. I share this because on Sunday, I still had 4 donuts left. When I went to eat them, the interior of the donut was no longer fluffy or moist. Not sure if it was because I had left the donuts sitting out on the counter in the box, but just thought I'd share that helpful tip. Keep up the excellent work you guys! I will be a returning...

A listener from my podcast told me about this donut shop. I was intrigued. I had not heard of Da Vinci's Donuts up until that point. I quickly did a search to find their website. This cake-like donut was described as light and tender with a crunchy exterior. Sounded great. I could not wait to try my new discovery.

When I arrived, Melissa Rudd (Owner) gave me the warmest greeting in the universe. What a sweetheart. She was not shy at all about giving me the run down. They carry 16 of their most popular flavors daily. Yes. You heard me right. I glanced over 16 of their best selling donuts. Flavors included salted caramel, maple bacon and a ton of others.

I could not wait to sink my teeth into one of these decadent morsals of perfection. These mini donuts are so cute. You could literally try a few flavors guiltfree because of their size. That first bite did something. It took me to the place that all donuts should be. It was light like a pound cake but firm enough to hold itself together. It wasn't too sugary either. I loved it. From start to finish, this was an epic dessert.

Leoanardo Di Vinci gave his blessing to owners Mr. & Mrs. Rudd on this venture. A treat like this doesn't happen by accident. It takes trial, error and alot of dedication. I plan on getting to the bottom of how this amazing brand came to be. Stay tuned to the podcast for an upcoming feature.

In the meantime, visit Da Vinci's Donuts in Sandy Springs, Alpharetta & Dunwoody. Keep a lookout for thier opening in Lenox this fall too! These donuts ROCK...

Da Vinci’s has the best donuts! There are tons of flavors to choose from. The best course of action is to get a whole box of 16 perfectly sized donuts.

All of there donuts have the same cake donut base with additional toppings/fillings. Don’t write them off since they only have cake donuts, which is the best kind of donut anyway. They focus all of their effort on their one cake donut recipe and it is done extremely well.

The fillings are additionally delicious and made from very fresh ingredients. There are classic flavors like CHOCOLATE and SPRINKLES. The more adventurous flavors are a MUST TRY such as TIRAMISU, LEMON BAR, STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE, and SAMOAS (inspired by Girl Scout cookies)!!!

The curbside delivery service is fantastic. The ordering and payment process online is easy to use. They let you schedule your order ahead of time. I scheduled mine two days in advance. They don’t pack your box until it’s time for your pick up, so you don’t have to worry about old stale donuts. There is an option to receive text updates on your order. They texted me to let me know my order is ready for pick up about 10 minutes before my scheduled pick up time. They text a phone number for you to call when you arrive and park outside.

They were quick to bring my donuts to me once I called and super friendly, especially during this time since we were both wearing masks to slow the spread of Covid-19.

I highly recommend Da Vinci’s!! Everything about...
