Drive through was not open at 5:15 a.m. and "Open" sign was not lit. Had to park and go inside - was not sure they were open and received no indication that I should walk in from Cashier looking at me through door. Cashier was not friendly and either lacks training or does not have the personality to work in customer service. I was nice to her and "broke her down" - when I left she was nice to me and even laughed at a joke I made, but she really should not deal with customers.
Coffee brewing was spilling all over the coffee station and employee said "it always does that". Looks like prime "slip and fall" waiting to happen and it is unsightly. Screw top on half and half was crusted over with old, dried up cream on the pour spout and in the screw top rings. I cleaned it and opened container to try and get clean cream out - I did not want to ask cashier because I knew it would be a hassle - and there were things floating in the half and half. There was no "Sugar in the Raw" (brown sugar crystals that have not been bleached like regular sugar) and the sugar containers were dirty. Every other Einstein's location I've been to has Sugar in the Raw.
There were unopened boxes and coats lying around on the tables by the entrance. The only reason I give it 1 star is because the two cooks (one middle aged Asian/Indian lady and one middle aged African American gentleman with a beard - big guy) were both really nice, I could tell they were trying and the Cheddar, Bacon, Egg sandwich was really yummy along with the Caribou coffee.
This was my first visit to this location. I could not believe it. I frequented 2 locations in Colorado and 1 over off North Druid Hills in GA and while all three were always really busy and hectic, they were immaculately clean and the only issue I ever had was occasionally my favorite specialty bagel would not be available.
This location needs a thorough cleaning, effective manager, staff training and...
Read moreWent there this morning for breakfast. The food itself wasn't terrible, but the woman at the drive-thru was so incredibly rude.
It was probably around 11:20-11:30am. I accidentally picked "drive-thru" when ordering online, so I drove thru to try to let them know I was there and would be waiting at curbside. Before I could explain myself I received a very condescending "you literally just placed your order like 10 seconds ago".
I took this with a grain of salt and decided it wasn't worth an argument. I drove around front, but curbside was not accessible at the time and I parked, literally 20 feet away in a parking space because i didn't want to be in the way.
The same woman came out with my order and again, very condescendingly says " for future reference, curbside is over there". I took my order from her and didn't even acknowledge her further or say anything back.
Its really a shame because the food was decent, im in the area every Thursday and thought this could be my breakfast spot on that day, but that woman left a terrible taste in my mouth and I wont be going back.
Reading through the comments and seeing others have had the same experience with, it seems the same person. Not sure how shes made it this far in customer service with such a bad attitude. Honestly, to be quite frank, she needs to learn when to just keep her mouth shut. She doesnt need to comment every rude thing that comes to her mind. I have a feeling she'd have a problem if someone did...
Read moreTried to eat here this morning. There was literally one car in the drive-through and one patron already eating in the restaurant, so for a Sunday after church in Buckhead, this is SUPER slow. No signs anywhere (on the door, etc), but as we proceeded to order, we were told it was cash only inside. We were told we could go through the drive-through if we wanted to use a card. We were not going to pile the entire family back in the car, drive through the drive-through and get our food to go - or get it and bring it back into the restaurant to eat - all to use credit. We asked if they couldn’t use the register for the drive-through for our order that was literally just feet away from where we were standing. They proceeded to tell us that it would “hold up the drive-through line” - which at this point the single car that had been in it had been serviced and the line was empty. The lack of customer service and inability to accommodate customers is appalling to me. People at this facility would rather forego business than flex a little and have a little customer service. Pitiful. We will take our business elsewhere where customer service...
