DO NOT GO HERE! I cannot stress this statement enough! If I could give this location a negative star, I would! The worse customer service I have ever received...IN. MY. Life! Went to Popeye’s Louisiana at 4555 Roswell Rd on August 4, 2020, at 7:48 PM. We did not get our food until 8:21 PM.
The only reason we did not leave was that we pre-paid using a mobile app. Again, as I mentation, we “preordered” so you would think the order would be ready when we arrived 8 minutes later. We pulled up to the drive-thru and was told to come around to the window. When we got to the window, we were advised to pull up; they were making our order. Oh, to add insult to injury, our order was not complicated. We had one chicken sandwich, one larger red bean & rice, fries, chicken fingers, and a drink. There was not a family meal, or anything customized. After waiting in the car for over 20 minutes, seeing other people get their food, and leave, it had become abundantly clear they had forgotten about us. Part of the reason we ordered online was to avoid as much contact with people as possible.
Once I arrived in the restaurant, I notice over ten people were waiting. I walked to the cashier and said we have been waiting for over 20 minutes in drive-thru; can you let me know where our order is? She then went to, “who I am assuming was the manager, and let her know I was inquiring about my order. The manager then came up to me and “yelled,” “you are going to have to wait! The chicken is still cooking!” I said, “I’ve been waiting?” She then looked at her employees and said, “ I am not about to do this with her,” and walked away. After everyone in the restaurant ignoring me for over 5 minutes, the cashier finally said, “What did you have?” I said, my order number was 89. I gave her my order number because I thought you should be able to pull this information up in your system, right? She then said, what food did you have? I repeated what I had. Also, here is where I get troubled, after repeating what I had...they still got my oder wrong! There were no chicken fingers, no drink, I received a spicy chicken sandwich instead of an original, the fries were cold, and the red beans and rice might as well have been just rice!
While waiting, there was nothing but negative comments within the staff. One woman saying, “Y ’all can keep this. I am taking my break.” The manager said, “This is worse than it was when they first brought that chicken sandwich.” One of the cooks left in the middle of cooking to go to the restroom and stayed there for over 2 minutes. The workers were sweating, walking to their car, some not wearing gloves…it was horrible! Not one person had good-manners, helpful, or respectful. If you are willing to risk exposure to COVD-19 for food, this is not the restaurant you go to for a meal! It is unfortunate because due to the services at this one location, I will never visit another Popeye’s.

Read moreIf I could give this Popeyes location a 0 I would. I have never in my life experienced the service that I received at the drive through on 9.15.2023. Here we go, so after baseball practice my son wanted something to eat it was a little after 9pm so we swung by Popeyes. As I approached the drive through I noticed on the inside that there were small children inside, no sitter gotta work ok you gotta do what you gotta do!
There was one car ahead of me waiting, we sat there for 4 minutes before I heard hello Popeyes how can I help you? They proceeded to order, but before they could say their order the customer was abruptly interrupted by the Popeyes worker yelling to someone in the back then comes back and says ok Popeyes how can I help you? The customer orders two chicken sandwiches and a sweet tea, the Popeyes worker says uhuun we ain’t got no sweet tea! Then you hear another Popeyes worker in the back yell we got some. I’m making it right now. The Popeyes worker comes back and says oh yeah, we got some we making it right now. Will that complete your order? The customer says yea and drives forward.
I’m next, so I pull my vehicle forward . The Popeyes worker says one second and we sat there for five minutes. By this time there was a line of cars wrapped around the Popeyes parking lot. The worker comes back and says Popeyes. How can I help you? I requested a number #4 with two legs french fries and a strawberry biscuit and a 12 piece wings! The Popeyes worker starts yelling to the people in the back and tells me to hold on. Two minutes later, she comes back and says Popeyes how can I help you? I again proceed to repeat my order and gets interrupted by yelling from the Popeyes worker to someone in the back. The Popeyes worker attempts to repeat my order and says you want a four piece thigh with a biscuit? I said no a #4 four with two legs, fries and a strawberry biscuit and the worker says I don’t have any strawberry biscuits. I said a regular biscuit will be fine! Popeyes worker says will that complete your order? I said no can I also have a 12 piece wings sweet and saucy? Popeyes worker says OK you want 6 ghost pepper wings? I said no I want a 12 piece wings sweet and saucy wings, she says we only got 6 ghost pepper! By this time I could not deal with the unprofessionalism. We had been sitting in the Popeyes drive through for 20 minutes and the cars in the drive-through were increasingly piling up towards the street. I just drove off and went to the best place I know that provides quick and efficient customer service Chick-fil-A.
I swear customer service, listening skills and professionalism in Atlanta is...

So, I already stopped going to this Popeyes as often as I used to because the night crew is unprofessional and rude. But today? Ohhh, today took the biscuit. 🥴
I roll through the drive-thru at 4 PM (mind you, they close at 1 AM) and order my food + 2 apple pies. The manager – yes, THE MANAGER 🍔👨🏽💼 – tells me they’re out of all desserts. His explanation? “The truck hasn’t come in two days, and I’m not using my gas to go get pies for one customer… if five customers wanted them, I’d go.”
EXCUSE ME?! 😳 So basically… customer service only kicks in when there’s a group order? Ok, Cool.
I pay for my food and head home (7 min drive) only to discover… surprise! No fries. 🍟🙄 Back I go.
I walk inside and guess what I see? A worker is pulling hot apple pies fresh out of the fryer and bagging them. Oh, the pies you didn’t have 10 minutes ago? 🤔
I ask the manager for 2 pies. He rings me up – I tell him I shouldn’t even be paying for them since he “didn’t have any” earlier AND I had to drive back for missing food. His response? Basically, a shrug. 🤦🏽♀️
I let him know – as the manager – his night crew is rude and unprofessional, and now I’m getting the same from him. His big comeback? “Wow.” So I said, “Yep, same thing I’m thinking… WOW.”
Long story short – this is the ONLY Popeyes in the area, and I will NEVER be back. 🚫🍗 If you’re into long waits, lies about inventory, missing food, and managers who don’t care, this is your spot.
And here’s the kicker… I’m a food reviewer. 🎤📹 Everything from the moment I order to the moment I leave is recorded. Corporate, if you’re wondering why this location is sitting at 3.5 stars, THIS is why. You have employees who aren’t here for the service – just a paycheck – and it shows. Keep it up, and you’ll continue to lose...
