Taqueria And Wings — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

This is the 1st time I’ve ever written a review for a restaurant, but I had to speak up as I’m so confused why reviews are so good.

The establishment is clean and friendly service as I called my order in & picked up shortly afterwards. I called in my order because you can’t spilt flavors online, but they will over the phone.

I ordered a 10 piece combo: 5 honey hot and 5 hot pepper, fried rice, and a drink. I usually never order a drink Togo because I usually just drink water from home, but this time I decided to treat myself. It was more like I tricked myself. The “fountain” drinks don’t include the peach, fruit punch, or lemonade rather just a few Coke products and Minute Maid. I don’t drink sodas but I got the combo so I just got Minute Maid and sprite mixed.

Wrong choice, I should’ve just got the Minute Maid alone because the sprite was flat & non flavorful as noticed when it dispensed therefore ruined my whole drink. The bag needed to be changed.

The wings are a decent size, while kinda small, but that’s better than jumbo sized wings. The size wasn’t the problem as the flavor was disgusting. It has a funny taste right along with the rice.

The rice has an overcooked texture almost too mushy, no way it’s fried rice, it has no form just slop on the side.

Ended up having to throw the entire $18.91 away and I was so disappointed. Now I’m still hungry & about $20 wasted!

It wasn’t close to closing time so that’s not even an excuse. I won’t ever make the mistake of eating here again even if it’s only...

I used to love this place. I discovered it over the summer and went faithfully for months. I even introduced friends who now go regularly, But I stopped going a few months ago after noticing the older gentleman wasn’t there anymore. Since then, the younger staff just don’t seem to take pride in their work. The food presentation has gone downhill, and more than half the time when they’re working, my food is cold. I have photos to prove it. After staying away for two months, I decided to give it another try today. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I ordered enchiladas—freezing cold, with unmelted cheese. The rice and beans were also cold. I also got a sope, and the meat and cheese were only on a quarter of it. It’s disappointing to see how far the quality has dropped. I truly hope management steps in to restore the standards this...

…. Maybe I should have got the tacos. The chicken sandwich was not even a whole patty sandwich. It was a thick tender strip. Had chunky onions that I had to separate and take off because it was thicker than the chicken. It was very dry which caused me to switch the whole meal out with an 8piece wing. I should have just gotten my money back. The wings had NO flavor because they don’t do wet lemon pepper. The sprinkles barely stick to the wings, so it was very tasteless. The drink options are very limited unless you spend an extra $3 for a bottled choice. I wasted $11+ just for a sandwich alone and then the difference with the wings. This is not the type of spot that can “do it all”. Try the tacos maybe, otherwise, save your time and money. I don’t have photos of the sandwich, but here go...
