Waffle House — Restaurant in Sandy Springs

I would give this zero stars if I could; however, Google is forcing me to be nice. After waiting almost ten minutes for the staff to clean off a dirty table, we finally sat down; however, waiting for a table to be cleaned was only the beginning of the issues.

After placing our drink and food orders, we quickly realized everyone around us hadn't even gotten their food or drinks yet. The cook was obviously having trouble keeping up with all of the orders. Half of our party received their food after 30 minutes, even though none of the party had received their drinks yet. The waitress finally brought everyone waters, even though some of us had coffee and Lemonade. The waitress brought the Lemonade after we asked for it but she never brought the coffee. It quickly became apparent that the other waitress kept stealing all of the orders from our waitress but it was never compensated for. Fifteen minutes after everyone who had received their food finished eating, my food still never came and they brought the wrong food to the other person.

If I hadn't had positive experiences with Waffle House then this would definitely be my last time in when but it is obvious that I'll never be back in...

As an ATL native, I have been to a plethora of Waffle Houses in my day, and this location is 💯 Hands down the BEST Waffle House in the area!!!! Especial praise to both employees who were there (young waitresses Asia & Chef 🧑‍🍳 Mike) As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted with a huge smile, professional yet still friendly service, and the food came out very fast, was fresh and fabulous!! I have a plethora of friends who work or have worked in the restaurant industry and it is far more difficult than job than I’d ever imagined. They were handling the entire (80% full) restaurant on their own, and did a flawless job!!! Great food, great service, and the entire building from the bathroom to the bar was the cleanest WaHo I’ve been in. 5/5 stars. I only rated the food this because this is the second time out of the hand full of visits I’ve stopped here to get food and also the second time something was found in my food! This time it was a piece of shriveled up clear plastic inside my eggs. I tried calling the store but no answer! The first time a while ago it was an egg shell inside my waffle thank God I dinned in that time they replaced it and apologized but for something similar to happen again at a time I did a to go order is unacceptable and they need to stop rushing and watch what they’re doing! My wrist is in recovery from a wrist surgery right now and I definitely do not want to drive back there especially since I’ve eaten half of the food prior to discovering the plastic in the Eggs.
