The pizza tasted good. But problem after problem, the owner said "your server, uhh, can't remember her name rn, anyways, she'll be right out". Kinda weird but ok. Then we ordered a large pan pizza, she came out 20 minutes later, and talked to the owner by the door, I overheard what sounded like they made a small instead of a large, owner said just give em another small, it'll be the same(ie 2 smalls=1 large) so she comes over with the hand tossed small, puts it on the table, and explains, I say yeah, but we wanted a large PAN pizza and most places 2 smalls aren't the same as 1 large. So she runs back to the owner again, back to the kitchen, back to the table... Ok, we're making the large, and giving you a discount..Ok, great, thanks. The large came out a little doughy in the middle, probably bc they rushed it, and the bill came out with the small listed as $13, and a $20 discount. Umm, we Didn't order the small .. But you put it on the bill, then give $20 off?? I don't really care if the kitchen screws up and you have to give away a pizza, I want what I ordered, and don't want to pay for things I didn't order.
And the tables are ice cold granite... Great idea, let's put hot pizza on an ice cold slab to suck the heat right out and eat cold pizza.
Bucks "famous" Alfredo sauce is medicare at best. Tastes like it's from a bag.
For reference, the person I was dining with is a successful restaurateur and she too was flabbergasted by the way they...
Read moreIf I could, I would give them 0 stars. This was the worst experience we've had eating out. First of all, our waiter was terrible. He got our bread sticks and drinks out quickly, but then we never saw anything else for 40 min. We needed refills and the waiters kept walking by ignoring us. When we finally got our salads, one was missing croutons and the waiter spilled the dressing. So he said he'd get them right away and the refills. While we were waiting, we found a hair in one of our salads. It had been 10 min since we asked for the croutons and dressing. So we asked to see a manager. Then another waiter came over and was very condescending, saying they were busy and the other waiter was training. He said the salad would be right out and it wasn't. We got our food over an hour later. We were missing things. The food was cold bc it had prob sat in the kitchen forever. We found another hair in one of our pastas. They never brought out an order of wings and the waiter said they were cold so they made more. Then the waiters kept walking by us and wouldn't come back to our table bc there were issues it was the worst service and food we have ever eaten. We didn't eat half of it bc it was cold and had hair in it. They took 50% off our bill but it was still too much for the small amount of food and stress. We will NEVER go back there ever!! And the manager acted like she was giving us a gift, offering us free...
Read moreI’m not a professional food critic, I do however eat a lot of pizza from a lot of areas. I also do quality control for a living, so I hope this is taken in the spirit of positing product building it is given it. The sauce is sweet and flavorful, which I look for in Sicilian style pizza 👍 The crust has flavor but is dense, and there’s too much of it in the ratio of other ingredients (sauce, cheese, toppings). Very little, to an almost an indistinguishable amount, of cheese that also resembled a type of flavorless melted processed product. This was possibly the killer... -Single topping pepperoni was less than plentiful. Delivery was on point and fast on a busy Friday which was stellar. 👍 For some field research, some top notch Sicilian style pizzas to R&D for comparison would be Bedo’s on Banksville road near Pgh, Frank’s pizza & chicken in multiple locations around Pgh and (if they still are around) Firehouse pizza in Zelienople. If I am left saying to myself that an Aldi store brand pizza would be more satisfying for the price, that’s a pretty good hint I won’t be a repeat customer. If I’m saying that, and I’m a pizza fan, there’s definitely others... I’m happy to try again and update, as long as the effort is there to improve...
