We stopped here on our way to Mt hood on our recent snow tubing trip. This place is very conveniently located next to a large, free parking lot and a gas station. Restroom was clean and the queue was not too long. The staff was super friendly and service was great! They had these cool paper chits with options to check for your sandwich! I wish everyone did this! So much easier and less intimidating than doing it orally! Service was fast and they were extra careful about sanitizing pens being used to mark options for sandwiches. Read moreWow I've stopped here enough times on the way to the mountain. Last espresso stop before the forest stretch up to Govy! The ambiance is certainly local coffee house. The service is great for the regulars and just meh for any other guest. Tables and counters are sticky even during the nice summer months. The "cozy" corner is three tired armchairs and a couch. For here, to-go, doesn't matter you're getting a paper cup, so bring your own mug. I'd consider these espresso drinks heavily thinned down with milk, they don't give the beans a chance. Read moreThey have several choices of syrups and drinks. Thier baristas are on Maui time, but as long as you are not in a hurry, all is good. They have home made style breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. Sandwiches are good for on the way to the mountain but not super high quality.. They have some cheap chatchkis taking up space in the store, and some nicer greeting cards available for purchase. Kind of gone down hill in the past years.
