I hardly ever write bad reviews on places but I have literally never had a good experience with this Dominos location. I've lived in the area for a little over 6 years and every once in a while I decide to give this location another chance. I keep giving them chances and I just need to stop at this point. I don't think this location will ever improve. I don't think they care enough to improve. They probably don't even care about this one star review.
Many of my past orders have shown up without the beverage or extra sauces I pay for so I have to wait another 15-20 minutes for the driver to drop off their other deliveries, go back to the store and drive back to my house after I've already eaten most of my food. The food quality is alright I guess, but I've had way better food at other Dominos locations. I want this location to care about the community that they are serving.
Last night was the last straw for this location. I'm never ordering from this store again and I'll tell you why. I placed an order online last night and was starving. I hadn't eaten much all day. I patiently waited an hour and a half for my food and it never showed. I called the store to see what was going on and nobody answered. I didn't get any kind of notification or phone call saying that my order was cancelled. So I decided to go get food elsewhere instead.
I called the store again this morning and talked with the manager, Cameron. He didn't care. I told him I placed an order last night, didn't even tell him my name or order number yet and he said "I know, I had to cancel 30 orders last night because we are understaffed. You'll get a refund in 2 days." Why aren't you calling customers and notifying them their orders are cancelled so they don't have to wait for nothing? If he would've called me and told me that I would have been more empathetic and would've just ordered food somewhere else and never written this review. I don't want to spend my time writing a bad review, but I also don't want people to have to go through all the same stuff I have with this store.
Altogether, I hope this store reads their reviews and learns from them because I can see other people have had the same issues. I hope this store decides to start caring about their customers or else this location is absolutely heading towards full closure. Don't order delivery from this location. Carryout might be okay, but if you're going to order delivery, choose a different...
Read moremain issues: 1. You have no idea when your order will be ready until you submit it (and pay) 2. Once you do submit the order on the app, the pick up time you're given will be about 45-60 min earlier than your order will actually be ready. 3. If you want to cancel your order because of these issues, you'll need to go in because they don't answer the phone.
About a month ago I ordered from this location for pickup via the Domino's app. I was given about a 45 min time frame for my order to be complete. However, about 60 min after placing my order the Domino's Order Tracker still said my order was "being prepared" (translation: "not started") I thought there must be an issue with the tracker so I went into the store. I was told it'd be about another 45 min or so because they were short staffed. I understood and sat and waited. While I was waiting I noticed a few things. The phone was ringing and ringing multiple times. I didn't see anyone answer it for the entire time I was sitting there. Another customer entered the store with his cell phone to his ear. When the employee asked if he could help the customer, the customer pointed to the ringing Domino's phone and said "that's me calling you, its been ringing forever". I also noticed that the poor two people on staff for a dinner rush seemed to be running around busily, but there is no great system for them to crank out orders - an operational nightmare. I ended up getting my order eventually (about 65 min AFTER my estimated pick up time).
Thinking that was just a one-off due to short staffing, I placed an order via the app again at this location two days ago and experienced the same thing. Knowing what I was in for, when the tracker still said my order was "being prepared" 5 minutes before my estimated pick up time, I went into the store. The parking lot was full with people in their cars waiting for their orders. I went in and was told it would be another 45 min (past my estimated pick up time). The only good thing I can say about this situation, is that the employee was so over worked and eager to cancel my order that he had the cancelation receipt in my hand before I even finished my sentence informing him...
Read moreI placed an order at 2:26 PM with this store.
I checked the Dominos tracker about an hour later after my pizza hadn't showed up yet, it showed that the pizza was put in the oven at 2:26 PM and had sat in that status.
So, I called in and was told that the pizza tracker wasn't working, that it was out of the door for delivery.
Well, several minutes went by, no delivery driver (they are 5 minutes away from me), I checked the tracker again, and it showed that they had just put the pizza in at 3:22pm (a second timeframe, I have screenshots of both) so I called back. I sat on hold for a good 7 minutes listening to commercials until someone picked up. They then immediately passed me off to the manager.
The manager wasn't apologetic, he was full of excuses stating that they have a 50% off deal going on. Yeah, I get that. However, having worked in retail service for over 15 years, you don't hand customer's excuses when you are providing them with wrong information and/or bad service, you apologize and find a solution.
He then cut me off and said they could refund or cancel the order. I said refund, to which he responded that they CANCELED the order.. Pretty sure I didn't say cancel, I said refund, but, apparently they're synonymous now.
If you're going to give an either or option to refund OR cancel, you cannot assume that the customer will assume that they are one in the same.
This location has gone down hill. As a loyal customer who has been using their service for over 10 years now, I'll no longer be going back. I hear Pizza Hut and Little...
