Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Sandy

I usually have no problem , the women that make the pizzas are great every time I order and pick up , this time I understand being busy on Christmas Eve , however I ordered 2 pizzas to pick up 30 was great for time , but I ordered a new stuffed crust pepperoni pizza and stressed to make it with very very light red sauce , the second pizza I ordered was a chicken Mediterranean , when they were picked up they had 3 pizzas for me , I told them I only ordered 2 , they replayed the messed up so gave me the extra pizza , thanks , it was a cheese with very thick red sauce , the second pizza was supposed to be a thin crust , when I cooked it at home it wasn’t cooking right ,found out it was made on a regular pan crust so it was pretty thick and did not cook correctly , the first pizza was a new stuffed crust , it had very thick red sauce also and looked like they took rolls of string cheese and wrapped them in the crust as a border , it was put on the thin crust that should have been on the Mediterranean, and cooked very hard on the outside crust but not on the bottom , so I guess next time I will need to be present when I order them in person as to watch over the operation and hopefully get it right , I switched to Pizza Hut for...

The pizza is good, the service treatment can be up and down especially during the Covid time frame. Workers were rude & judgemental upon walking in trying to walk in to order as per always prior to Covid.

If you didn't call ahead they would not serve you and if no mask they would refuse service and entry even when the rest of the world had already lifted the mask mandate. Also would not answer the phones to take orders many times we had called when they felt they were busy. So catch 22, could not walk in and could not call ahead. Lot of younger 16+ yr old employees with no customer experience that gave the attitude as if their mothers made them angry before work because they had asked them to do something. Understandable that this review is past its time but this is how I was treated at this location every time I tried to walk in or call ahead. Ordered two pizzas, one stuffed and one regular. Didn’t notice until driving all the way back home that they actually gave us two regular crust pizzas, which wouldn’t matter as much but the there is quite a price difference. Drove all the way back to only be told they’re “they were out of the crust”. No problem but Why wouldn’t you tell your customer that and offer a partial refund when they came to pick it up? Then after asking for a refund they got the manager, manager then said they’ll make it right now and that they’re not out of the crust after the employee said they were. As someone who works in the food industry and who use to help manage a restaurant this is just bad customer service. Especially having to drive all the way back home after a store knowingly let’s a guest walkout with a different pizza they ordered.
