Pho Viet — Restaurant in Sandy

As we entered the restaurant the older man stared me down, I felt extremely uncomfortable as me and my girlfriend tried to order we asked if there were any vegetarian dishes (stated directly on the menu) he refused to take her order and just kept saying "no". I order a spicy beef noodle pho, after 25 minutes of waiting he handed me a tub of microwaved broth that wasn't spicy whatsoever, the vegetables and noodles looked okay, the cooked beef that was supposed to be on the plate was actually raw uncooked pork. Unfortunately since the meat on the plate is completely raw I am unable to eat the dish. Extremely unsatisfactory customer service please do not come here if you dont want raw meat in your food. We decided to eat at the joy teriyaki right next to it much better food...

I suggest giving this place a chance even if most reviews say otherwise. I LOVE Pho and I thought it was as delicious here as anywhere in Portland. The portions were of decent size and the broth was great! Lots of onions and large quantity of meat. I added tripe for $2.95 and there was probably 8 or 9 huge pieces which is far more than most other places. Service-wise, yeah, ok so the waiter wasn't exactly bubbly, but he wasn't rude either. He was fast and concise, which I can appreciate. He chatted with my husband while I was in the restroom and hubs said he seemed very nice. The restroom was clean and we did not experience the same issue that others have described regarding dirty silver and glassware. Everything...

Horrid! This place was deceptive. You walk in, and it smells great. Then you sit down. That's your mistake. All the silverware, chopsticks, and soup spoon are in one container with nothing to stop hands from playing with them. The chopsticks still had food residue on them! The container holding the eating utensils was also crusted with food! The sauce containers had no lids, and the fruit flies and gnats were literally crawling in and out of the nozzles of the bottles of sauces! One container for sauce literally had 5 insects on it. Never go here, never sit down, and avoid it like ground zero...
