Joy Teriyaki — Restaurant in Sandy

i have gone in here twice after school, the first time i bought a drink and food to go the old lady at the front didn’t give me a cup. when i asked for a cup she told me she didn’t have any togo. she didn’t print me a receipt because she assumed i didn’t want one and clicked no receipt before i could do anything. she ended up going back to look to see if i bought a drink and i did, she gave me a to go cup and i didn’t want to ask for anything else since she was already rude. i went in a couple days later (today) & everything was fine except for when i got my food i asked for one extra teriyaki sauce, she got an attitude with me and told me there was already one in the box. i told her i wanted an extra and she said it was already in the box again. i told her that i want 2 of them, she rolled her eyes and threw it in the bag. i don’t understand what her issue is but i don’t recommend going to this...

Many of the locals seem to like this restaurant. They have positive comments about the food. We received big portions on our visit. The taste was OK. The chicken teriyaki plate was the best of the three we experienced. The beef teriyaki tasted more Korean-style. The gyoza was deep-fried rather than the preferred method of pan-steamed. Other than texture, it tasted good. The feature I will remember the most about this visit is the lack of service and lack of friendliness from the woman who worked the counter and brought out the food. She was visibly irritated when taking our order, and she complained when I asked her for chopsticks for our meal. Food was fresh. Ordered the teriyaki plate and the spicy chicken yakisoba. The teriyaki plate was well worth the value of the amount of food you got. Also ordered pot stickers and fried shrimp... my issue is more with the cost of the spicy chicken yakisoba meal. One you get very little chicken, the majority of what you get it cabbage and very little noodles! and for 13 bucks it is a rip off, basically paying for over priced veggies... not only that they upcharge you formaking the chicken spicy !
