Snelgrove Ice Cream — Restaurant in Sandy

I can remember Snelgrove Ice Cream from an early childhood memory and know its flavors well. I was sad when even Dreyers quit producing it but thrilled when it was opened in St. George. I let out an audible "YES!" when I saw the news even though I knew I'd not be there anytime soon because of where I lived.

However, today I had the opportunity to have ice cream at the Sandy location. It was as good or better than I remembered it - and my expectations were high.

This is ice cream at its finest. The whole experience was absolutely wonderful. The variety was excellent. The texture and flavor are, to me, the gold standard. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Thanks for letting me feel like that kid in an ice cream...

This is an ice cream shop that puts flavors first. I feel like most ice cream shops really rely on heavy sugars and artificial flavors to make their ice cream taste good. Snelgrove knows how to do it without any of that stuff. I only found a few flavors I didn’t care for out of personal preference.
