Swig — Restaurant in Sandy

Swig is one of my favorite favorite soda shops in Utah! I’m not one to really write reviews or complain, but I feel like everytime I go to this location I am disappointed in the service. I’ve been in the drive through, where there is only 1 or 2 cars ahead and I have had to wait 15-20 minutes. I have also gone inside and had long wait times. One time when I was in the drive through, I pulled up to the window and noticed 2 of the workers just chatting and I could see my drinks on the counter and I had to sit and wait for them to finish chatting before they even realized I was there. My drink was also looked like it had been spilled when they handed it to me. I also have noticed sometimes the drinks are flat which is a bummer. I went in today, and it was a little busier so I understand why the wait times were longer. However there were 4 employees, and only 2 making drinks. I felt like the other 2 who were unboxing in the back could have easily stepped in to help, but instead we all had to wait. I have tried to be patient, because I understand they are young, but I feel like something should change when everytime I go I leave frustrated or disappointed. At other locations, employees are so friendly, quick, and efficient. Here, I don’t feel like they take the time to be friendly and welcoming to customers, and there is no sense of efficiency. I was at the Lehi location recently, and the drive through line was crazy long. I was so amazed when I was in and out with my drink in less than 10 minutes. I don’t say all of this to just be negative and high maintenance, I have just noticed a big difference in this location compared to others and it honestly makes me sad! Not sure if this is a management issue, but I hope to see...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I came here today trying to get a drink before work. I waited by the menu and the back door because someone usually comes out and takes my order. I waited for about 5 minutes and no one came out. So naturally I went forward to the window. There were 2 cars were in front of me both of their orders being taken at the window. It becomes my turn the girl in there tells me they don’t take orders at the window and she said “So you could either reverse or go back around”. I was already waiting for about 15 minutes at this point. There were cars behind me so I did not think it was fair she was making me go back around. I have had my order taken at the window plenty of times. The customer service was so poor. I was confused trying to figure out why she couldn’t just take my order and then I would be on my way. The service at this location seems to be getting...

So excited this Swig opened! ❤️ I posted this poem I wrote in a review for the Draper location, but added a stanza in honor of the Sandy location’s opening. Their service is speedy and super friendly! (Welcome to the neighborhood!!!)
