Well for starters let me get pretty much the only positive out of the way. My server Skyler C. was excellent, she was amazing at her job, Thank you Skyler. As for the rest UGH. The restaurant has a polished concrete floor with seats that have plastic footings that slide like they are on ice on the floor. I am disabled and when I adjusted myself in my seat the chair almost slide out from under me. I wasnt the only ones who had this issue as the couple next to me made the same comment. Its a disaster waiting to happen. As for the food, well it was terrible. I had a coupon $20 off $50 so I tried 3 appetizers, the Boca Board, Lobster Wontons and Zucchini fries. I considered ordering the AIRLINE CHICKEN, yes the menu offers AIRLINE CHEICKEN, but I have no clue what that is. Well the Zucchini fries were OK but I still can not understand how one can come out of the basket hot and crispy and at the same time the one right next to it in the basket is undercooked and cold, the whole basket was like this, so if you ate 2 at a time there was a good chance you would get one crispy cooked warm one and one cold, undercooked , soggy one. I had the same response as the gentleman at another table, as to the lobster Wontons, I smelled them a couple of times as they didnt quite smell right and I am a fool for eating them. They were luke warm, with little flavor and if there was Lobster in them it was hidden well. Lastly was the Boca Board. Again I saw the gentleman do the exact same thing I did, and take a couple of whiffs of the meat as it seemed to be old and on its last legs of edibility, if any legs left at all. The cheese was OK with I believe 3 different small samples of cheeses. The crisps (not sure what the menu names them) were one of the oddest of all. Somehow they were overcooked, undercooked, hard, soft, stale, warm and cold all at the same time, how this is possible is a mystery to me. They are made from left over pizza dough, OH and the taste was not appealing at all. Well I tried 3 different items and was not impressed at all. Yes I did finish the wantons and zucchini fries, figured i would say that before management replies that I did. Overall I will not be back to this establishment. Even with a $20 off coupon, I still spent almost $50 on 3 terrible appetizers and a soda. Staff, as far as the greeter and the server Skyler are great. The food is terrible and way over priced, and since i tried 3 different apps, it cant be blamed on just 1 bad dish. I would advise not eating at this...
Read moreFirst time here hoping for a lovely dinner experience and it fell short for me. When we walked in, no one was at the hosts’ desk to welcome us. It was far from busy. We stood by the host desk for a couple minutes until I made eye contact with who I felt might be the hostess. When she came up to us, I appreciated her offering us our choice of booth or high top. The venue is cute and I love the big bar in the center. Plenty of seating. We chose the booth and I loved the high backing of the booths. Spacious and comfortable. Our waiter was ok. Lacked personality and took a while checking up on us or asking us about our meal. If he had, I would’ve told him the sauce with my gnocchi tasted sour and the food was bland. I understand it’s not his fault but customer service is part of the dining experience. I anticipated a manager or maitre’d to come around, but didn’t encounter one. As we ate dinner, our waiter was cleaning all the other tables which I found odd that there was no busser. He cleaned the booth behind me and I could feel all this pounding and knocking as I assumed he was cleaning the area despite its disturbance. On a better note, the truffle fries and brussel sprouts were delicious. The ambiance is lovely. I’ll probably revisit again, but I think I’ll just occupy a small space at the bar and hope the drinks can make up the...
